Nice old school vibe with Italians in the back playing cards and Arabs sitting in the front. Lorenzo the owner is a guy that takes great pride in the place and gets to know all the regulars.

I used to come here during my break at work, the espresso in the cup with the rock sugar, even the card games or machine game in the back was cool! I'd press them to sell me a bag of beans now I found Caffe Borbone has a US base and can be ordered online... still loving the vibe of this place and the community- Astoria rocks! Hidden old school gem in the middle of Astoria serving up delicious Italian espresso. It may not be much to look at, but they serve up Borbone espresso as it's supposed to be. As far as decor, there is none, just have your espresso while there or on the go, its worth doing so either way

The apricot preserve croissants are nice, and the barista makes a good cappuccino. The place is crowded, and does not enforce the no smoking rule, which makes it unpleasant.
