Nothing here is gonna change your life, but the tacos at 2.50 a piece (after tax) are the best deal in the area and consistently pretty good. Their bistec, however, is bad. Everyone is nice too.
This is 4 stars, but 5 because of the price.

Absolutely bonkers how good this food is. It looks simple and plain, but the quality and depth of flavor and ingredients is stunning. Can’t remember being so impressed by a Mexican restaurant in NYC in the decade I’ve lived here. Lovely service too.

Hiiiii.. I’ve never been here physically I was put on by a friend!! Anyway I never write reviews !! But I absolutely love their nachos!! They are AMAZING!!! I rate this place 5 stars !! Amazing food ! It is very hard to find good Mexican food! I am from Mexico if I must say :)

Great food for a good price, they even offer horchata to drink (you have to try it, huge recommendation). The Service was nice and the place very clean.

Perfect taqueria. The real deal. Everything is good if not great. The cemitas are exquisite. Only thing is, it’s a little small. But worth the visit or the order.

The food here is AMAZING. Have been coming here for years and recommend this to everyone I know and no one has ever been disappointed. I saw a comment about the restaurant being cleaner or fixed up— they recently remodeled and it looks great.
This place is a favorite and will continue to be one. 10/10 you should try it

Absolutely one of the best taco places in NYC. Many people are sadly missing out on this spot because it's in Astoria. Amazing tacos for $2.50 each is a steal. I live in Brooklyn but I travel out here to get tacos at least once a month. Employees are very friendly and food is also amazing.
