The Happy Cheese

A family birthday meal. 15 of us in total all had main meals. With no complaints what so ever. The food all came out as ordered. Which can be tricky with such a big group. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure are evening went with out any issues and the food was well presented good quality and very Tasty. 10/10. Can highly recommend especially if your looking for large group booking. Many Thanks to all the staff on duty 23/10/23

Love this little gem we found last year its a proper pub no tvs playing sports music a right level so you can hear it but still chat and hear everyone food is proper pub grub never had an issue and plates are always empty afterwards yummy and to wash it all down with an ice cream with lots of choices and how you want it. Staff are all lovely love the fact its also the local post office so drop your parcels in and have a pint. Only thing is the parking registration doesn't give you a confirmed message. Will be back next year when we are down in the new forest again . Thank you for being a fab pub!

The Happy Cheese is a great neighbour to have here at Pedall Inclusive Cycling. Their staff are happy and friendly with a positive attitude. The choice of food and, especially, ice cream is outstanding. Our customers, staff and volunteers often pop ‘next door’ after a cycle for good food and the friendly atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff for putting the happy into Happy Cheese.

Friendly staff and good food. Gave 4 stars due to the disabled toilet being inaccessible for wheelchair users. Table was left outside the toilet door, blocking fire exit corridor. Unable to use the toilet as baby changer was down with a notice saying do not fold up .I did tell the staff who said they would inform the landlord. Such a shame as really nice place.

Booked a table, surprised to find out it was Quiz Night...had the best time. Came last but won Chocolate, what's not to like..! Really helpful and friendly staff. Great Food and a bargain jug of Pimms. The Quiz was clear, meaning great acoustics, excellent tech skills to make it extra fun. Be sure to book if it's a Wednesday. Thanks for a great evening. Curry not mentioned below, but was delicious.

I’ve driven past the Happy Cheese lots of times, always wanted to go in. Last night, me and my partner popped in late on a Sunday. Atmosphere was good, staff were friendly. We ordered via the app which was really easy to use. Food took about 30 minutes to come but it was fairly busy. Food was hot, tasty and just what we needed. Thanks team.

Nice food served here we stopped by, didn’t planned, during half therm, nice outside with playground for kids to play while waiting for food to be served. We had burgers with fries 🍟, nice fresh pub food, burgers nicely seasoned. also ice cream parlour served inside. also parking in front of the pub.
