Just happened to find this place coming back from Cleveland. Great food. Great service. My son and I had the country fried steak, my wife had the open faced roast beef, and my daughter had the Cleveland club sandwich. Potato skins for an appetizer. All of us were extremely happy with our selections. This never happens. Loved this place. Wish we would have had room to try the pies. Very reasonable pricing on everything.

I ordered the liver and onions my lady had the steak special seasoned with garlic parmesan. The liver was tasty but small portion. The steak was pale grey exterior and pink center chewy and bland. Desert was ho hum I got the peach pie and ice cream and the peaches were hard and flavorless. We don't plan revisiting.

Picking up my daughter at AU today, and wanted to grab a lunch before she's done school, so I came here. And am I glad I did. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and my order came out quickly. I ordered the BLT (with an extra serving of bacon ... ;-) ...you can see it poking out from under the slices of bread) and white country gravy (which was great with the fries!). The coffee was good too, strong just like I like it. A simple lunch, but so good. Will definitely return next time I'm in Ashland, maybe will come by dinner.
