Ardmore Q

First time visit here and I wish I had taken some photos of the food, but we couldn't wait to dig in! We had the chicken and waffles and the Alabama chicken sandwich and both were amazing. Chicken was tender, moist and full of flavor. Highly recommend a visit if bbq is your thing! UPDATED - Adding pics from our second visit. Still amazing!!!

Snagged two dinners to-go, ribs and brisket. Tried the various sides and they were all heckin’ delicious. Mac + cheese is creamy as all get out, but not heavy in the least. The baked beans with bacon snuck in there? Gimme, gimme more. Fries were tasty and the ribs and brisket were hella melt in your mouth. Corn bread was superb and the accompanying butter was a perfect touch. BBQ sauce, homemade by a culinary wizard of the Greater Philly area. Worked in food service for years and can legit say, this food rocked the casbah! Stoked for leftovers tomorrow 👍 and pumped to return another time for a terrific feast!

Man, this food was delicious, and I only got the leftovers. My wife went here for lunch and ordered a lot of food, so I had an excellent dinner. To start the hush puppies were the best I've had, flavor was spectacular, they were also the biggest I've had, not a mark for or against, just know they'll be big and delicious. Brisket was super tender, excellent flavor, top 3 I've had for sure. Collards were also best I've had. Next was the ribs, they were smokey, well cooked fell off the bone, excellent, probably top 4, and none of the others are within 500 miles. Will definitely be going back. I almost forgot, there were wings, big fat, well cooked and a unique flavor, something I will be getting again, glad we have it nearby!

Hospitality gets 5 stars and food gets 2. We were greeted warmly and the woman working was very attentive and sweet. We ordered pulled pork, Mac n chz, beans, cole slaw, cornbread and pork sandwich. First problem was the food came out almost cold, which was strange for the amount of time we waited and the low volume of the restaurant. Pork was dry and the bbq sauce didn’t do much as it was nothing special. Mac and chz was ok, a little salty and tasted like it was made with velveeta, no flavor at all. Cornbread was so so dry despite the butter provided and honestly just a waste of space on the plate. Beans were not good, we both agreed they had a strange meat flavor to them that was not appetizing at all and it was definitely not the bacon mixed in. Sandwich was dry and had to be soaked in bbq sauce. Cole slaw tasted like onions and celery seed. Overall overpriced and lacking in flavor, sad because it would be a nice cute neighborhood spot if the food was good :/

Ordered here last night for the first time, since it was no longer Ardmore Q. Food was alright and there was a bit of a wait, could have been because they were super busy with people dining inside and out. However, food was not ready when I got there, and I waited a few minutes past my pick up time but they were nice and accommodating. So for the food, the pulled pork was only enough for one person which was disappointing for the price but it wasn't too bad . The ribs and fries were awesome. Ribs had good flavor. As for the mac and cheese..... I am always skeptical about trying mac and cheese from places. I got two mac and cheese's(incase it was good we would have enough) an boy were they different. One tasted and resembled good ol' baked mac and cheese. The other one was not good at all... It didn't have the cheese in it ,was burnt on the top and watery. It was pretty much missing ALL of the ingredients that it needed. It was not good, threw it out the second I saw how the first one looked. . I will give one more chance and see how it goes. It could have just been an off night for them, like I mentioned they were very swamped with diners. UPDATE 7/03/21: Decided to give this place another shot since it's been a few months since the first time we tried it.Food was better than back in April when I had originally ordered. Food was hot and delivery was quick. The pulled pork was way more than my previous order.This time it was so much we each were able to have a nice amount per person which was nice. As for the Mac and cheese.... I wasnt sure how it was going to taste once I opened the container and saw it. To my relief it was much better than the first order (which was missing all the ingredients and was burnt and watery). Once eating it wasn't bad. However, a few parts tasted like pure salt, but just on the top. The rest of it was good. Glad I gave it a second chance.
