. 🍨 At Kilwins, I loved the festive decor and the ice-cream was better than I expected. I got the sea- salt chocolate caramel... the caramel was especially luscious... like they made it themselves. 🚂 We ate our ice-cream across the street next to the train tracks and my train-obsessed boy was over-the-moon excited to watch 3 trains pass by us. Amazing evening!

Such a fragrant and magical place. The white and black tile floor just works. The ice cream was fantastic! The strawberry and chocolate flavor were good. The waffle cone and cup were amazing. But I was really blown away by the lemon sorbet. It was actually creamy and not grainy in the slightest. It had a clean lemon flavor, but it tasted more like a creamy lemon tart texture wise. Super impressed! And the Kilwin tracks was like cookies and cream, but the actually cookies were complex and multi-layered, like a fancy cookie for adults. The food was so good that it was gone before I remembered to take a picture.

We stopped by Kilwins to buy a Father's Day gift and fell in love. My kids created a custom chocolate bar made fresh in the store (he loved it). We also picked up a caramel apple, fresh store-made fudge and chocolate covered pretzels. So nice to purchase hand-dipped store-made fresh treats, forget the other stores who buy mass produced chocolates and put in the case as fresh or their own, Kilwins is the way to go. Best Ice Cream in Suburban Square, stop in you won't be disappointed! Last note, the owners are really nice.

never been here before. fantastic old timey look and the service is fantastic. I got to sample various ice cream flavors. couldn’t decide because they were all so good and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. not your typical flavor selection neither. we lived the toasted coconut icw cream. got a retail box as well. we will definitely be back.
