Fratello's Riverfront Restaurant

Beautiful view. Friendly manager. We were there in the middle of the afternoon, the waitress didn’t offer suggestions of options like the salad dressings or filling our water. We had to ask. The food was good, nice presentation. Almond crusted walleye was amazing. Scallops were good but only came with three and for the price, at least four would have been nice 😊 The mushroom, cheese and prosciutto risotto was good but heavy on the salt. Overall, the atmosphere and the manager got this review the five star.

Had a nice dinner experience. Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. River view with the dam was very nice also. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. Service was good and the flow of food arriving at the table was spaced perfectly. Enjoyed a blueberry basil margarita that was a great mix of sweet and tart. Also enjoyed some delicious truffle fries before steak and scallops for dinner. Highly recommend stopping in to enjoy some apologizes and drinks or for a nice quiet dinner experience.

Had a really nice experience here last night! I had a sweet server her name was Hannah and she was very pleasant and kind. My steak wasn’t cooked they way I wanted so they remade it for me and took a percentage off my bill. There was a manager who came to the table and offered me a salad or side while they cooked it. I’m not sure of his name but he had a Patagonia sweater on and was very kind and professional. Very good experience even on a busy Friday night! Thanks Fratellos

Fratellos's is wonderful. Had a drink at the bar before dinner. Bar service was great and drinks were great. Had dinner and loved everything. Food was prepared very well and super appealing presentation. Our server was Rose and she was amazing. Very helpful and attentive. Great atmosphere and beautiful views. Enjoyed our night visiting family in the area and look forward to going back!

What a gem. The restaurant is located in the downtown on the river front in an old paper mill. Our server (Andie) was simply awesome! Very engaged in doing a great job. We felt very welcomed. The beverages were great, dinner was good and desert was awesome. Glad we found this place. We took a large group of coworkers there and once again had a wonderful experience. Great job to the staff at Fratellos!

We scheduled a reservation online - which was great and easy process. We requested a river view if possible. We didn't get a river spot, but were the next row over which wasn't bad. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant at night - soft lighting is so romantic. Would definitely recommend for a date night. We ordered the Bruschetta - Tomato, red onion, balsamic, mozzarella, basil, crostini to start. This is a usual we order at most restaurants, so we are pretty well versed in it. This one was not the best unfortunately. The presentation was nice, however the tomatoes were diced pretty large in comparison to the crustini. This made it super messy to eat and it was falling apart on us. The basil also was very strong and bitter, not sure why. I wouldn't recommend this appetizer. We ordered the truffle shrimp carbonara - wild caught pan seared shrimp, pancetta, peas, mushrooms, in a creamy truffle carbonara sauce as well as the seafood pasta - spicey Fra Diavo sauce, shrimp, octopus, peas, Pappardelle, and Ricotta mousse topped with parsley and bread crumb. My husband and I usually split halves on entrees we order since our pallets are very similar. This however was the first time we didn't. After trying one anothers, we didn't like the other person's entrees at all. Overall the entrees were just ok, nothing too notable. The octopus however was rubbery, so not cooked properly. Overall we were a little underwhelmed with dinner. The waitstaff were very attentive and polite. We appreciated that very much. The strawberry lemonades were amazing too.

Went on Friday 5/27/22 and I always make a reservation as they can get busy. Our server told us they had added several new items to the menu. He recommended the new chicken caprese (pictured) and it was wonderful. It came with small potatoes and had a balsamic drizzle over everything that was fantastic. Yum yum! I'd highly recommend trying it.
