Old World Pizza

The box was damp when I picked up the pizza. I said it was okay at first because it didn't seem too wet. They put another box underneath and then I went home. The pizza was stuck to the bottom of the box only on one half. We used a spatula to get it off, but a little cardboard still stuck to it. As it turns out, the water actually soaked the whole way through. The pizza was good, but just not the professionalism. My Father called back to be nice and tell them. We didn't want trouble or even a refund. We just wanted to make sure it did not happen to the next customer. The manager took it to a whole different level. He sweared at my Father using the F bomb, and blamed it on me. He said it was due to me leaving the pizza for thirty to forty minutes. Then he told my Dad to come down there. My dad hung up after saying he will tell everyone he knows not to go there. The manager called back and said "Let me tell you something". Needless to say, that was bad customer service. No matter how much time it sat there, the box should not be wet! I hear stories all the time about people ordering pizza and picking it up an hour or more later. Never have I heard the box being soaked. I guess the lesson of the day is: Be nice to people until you have reason not to.

Son had ordered pizza and the bottom of the box was wet.the manager accused son of being late and said thats why it was damp but it wasnt grease from pizza. After getting it home the pizza was so stuck to the bottom of the box it wasnt even eddible i called just to let them know not wanting anything just wanted them to be careful to not set box into something wet but the manager was irrate and started to cuss at me i hung up the phone and this manager called me back and started again i told him i was going to post this type of bussiness. I have ordered alot of pizza and never had it stuck to the bottom of the box. And have never been given an attitude when just telling them that i wasnt happy with the way the pizza was. When my son picked up the pizza the manager noticed the the box was damp and just put the box inside another box. To all that use this pizza place beware of what they give you. This place should be shut down by the health board due to the way the pizza was given to us

One of the worst experiences I've had. I try to support local businesses, but this was a one and done for me. Sacco's is a total rookie operation with no sense of quality or time management. A "10 minute order" of a slice and italian beef was OVER AND HOUR OF WAITING. They are way understaffed and way under-trained. You'd think step 1 would be to make sure the oven was on, but nope. After 45 minutes of waiting, I left only to return to the rookies in their realizing the oven WASN'T EVEN ON. When i finally got my food, the italian beef and fries were cold, and the fries were garbage that had been cooked in week-old oil. Yes, "Sucko's" can even mess up fries. Don't waste your time, patience, or money. Support ANY other business and get some respect and quality food...

Wow don't ever order from old world pizza in algonquin.. I ordered food and told them I wanted BBQ wings they sent me hot wings instead and when I called and told them he told me I never ordered that and said if I wanted my BBQ wings I would have to go pick them up even though I already paid for the delivery... It gets even better when i get there to pick them up he said he never made them and he wasnt gonna replace them because I ate on wing..
