Firehouse Subs

We totally dropped the ball on ordering a group lunch and thankfully found (Saint) Rahim who answered the phone at 7:45am and so graciously and patiently and warmly took our order. 28 boxed lunches like it was nothing. You’d think this would be the standard these days and it’s just not anymore. Rahim and his team nailed the order. 100% accuracy and punctually. I can’t emphasize enough how much some simply good service from a team actually looking to be of service can go such a long way. Thank you. From the bottom or my heart. Thank you.

It was our first experience at Firehouse Subs and their subs are pretty hot! The food and the service are awesome! I got the pepperoni meatball sub and it was delicious! I loved the atmosphere and their restrooms are very clean! One thing I would like for them to add to their menu is a buffalo sub. We’ll definitely go back and eat there again as soon as we can!

Service was excellent. I was greeted when I first walked in and my order was taken promptly. The food was good and the ingredients were fresh. My only complaint was the price. Seemed a bit high for what I ordered. However, I guess that is just the norm these days and not specific to Firehouse. I will return next time I am in the mood for a good sub.

Firehouse makes some of my favorite subs and this location has friendly, hard working individuals who always seem to try their best despite at times being short staffed (seems to be the norm in these times). I really don't like reducing a location's ratings based on things that are out of their control, and every time I go into this location I see the people behind the counter doing their best to be friendly and as quick as they can be. I appreciate them very much and always enjoy going in. Just be careful if you pop in at lunch time on a weekday if you're in a hurry but don't blame the people behind the counter. They're doing their best. I frequent all the locations in ABQ (I really do like their subs) and this one is my favorite next to the location on the west side (Cottonwood). If you haven't tried a sub here yet, ask a team member and they will give you suggestions based on your preferences. Also, Firehouse doesn't charge more for upgrading to a large soda, which may not be the healthiest thing but it shows the company's approach to creating value.
