Shogun

Went to pick up shogun to go got salad with no dressing, no complimentary shrimp, and the food tasted like nothing with 0 flavor. It was dry and not seasoned at all. My bowl of cereal had more flavor then this. I have eaten here before and not had terrible experiences. However, this time was an expensive lazily made meal.

We tried this place after reading some of the reviews across various reviewing websites. We took the kids with us too as they have never experienced anything like this. Place was not too busy. Perfect for us. We all had the hibachi of some sort. All was good there. Big portions for the price. The soup was nothing great but drinkable. Salad was not edible at all. Watered down yum yum sauce is not a good substitute for a normal salad dressing. Also our son got too close to the cooking area and got his thumb burnt. No help from staff to correct the problem with ice or extra napkins. We had to get up and get it all on our own from across the restaurant. Would we go back....maybe without our son but hard to tell as this experience wasn't the best but not the worst.

Fantastic! We ordered sushi, get the volcano roll. We sat at the hibachi table and enjoyed the chef cooking for us. Our rice, noodles, vegetables, and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. We had a birthday and took a cake, the waitress put the cake in a cooler for us and then brought it out with a lighter, plates, and forks which was very nice. Great experience.
