Definitely not the worst food I have had from chinese takeaways in Airdrie. Still yet to find one that serves seaweed. Food was cooked properly and tastes as it should

Ordered chicken with rice and gravy , sadly the chicken was dry and off colour , did we dare eat it , could have been days old . In the bin Also had beef chow mein , the meat hadn’t been tenderised and was cold compared to the veg and noodles again it went in the bin I’m afraid to say . Won’t be back sadly has really gone downhill . Price gone up and food standard has gone down massively . Too many other options in the area to persevere with these low standards for the Saturday night treat . Bye bye” new “ open kitchen.

Been going here for a while and they do a nice salt and chilli chicken but I've at times found their other dishes, especially they're coated chicken, can be dry. Today my orange chicken was pretty much inedible. The sauce was ok but as you can see, the chicken was cooked, left for at least a day then recooked to be this bad. It was rock hard, the fibres of the meat had all separated and you could not cut it with a knife. This is pretty poor and I will for sure not be eating the again.

Pretty decent local Chinese Takeaway, can get very busy so order in plenty of time. Always had a good feed from here . Guys work hard and always seem busy . Counter staff really nice too. Anytime we have called for a delivery drivers have been really nice . But again , delivery can take a while , and I know they have at least 3 drivers when busy . Would definately recommend. The Satay Sauce is amazing !!!

Fast delivery, high quality food, competitively priced, good sized portions and a fair delivery fee. Their JustEat app is well organised and easy to use. I've tried most Chinese take-aways in the Airdrie area, and I'd say New Open Kitchen is one of the best value for money.

Placed an order through the Just Eat app and received the wrong order. When I finally did receive the correct order after a few telephone calls I opened it to find what is supposed to be peking sauce spilled all through the chow mein. Not recommended.

Fast delivery, wasn't to keen on the food tho. The bbq sauce was far to sweet & tasted rather sour but by the time I realised I had already poured it all over my meal. Also the chicken balls where rock solid. As if they had cooked them previously & fired them back into the fryer when I orderd. For that I highly doubt I will order again, only tried it due to my usual Chinese being shut on a Tuesday. Would not recommend this place at all, staff is friendly enough but food was unbelievably disgusting
