Modish5

Another case of.....the Google reviews brought me here. Post camping, it seemed that quality pancakes were in order. And, Modish5 had some extra friendly support on that front. This establishment has a nice, warm atmosphere and was frequented by both cyclists and family groups alike. I'd imagine it would be a good 'date' venue as well. Decorations were varied but tasteful and interesting. The sign at the door says wait to be seated, but there are no staff members apparently ready to seat incoming customers, at least not on this occasion. Once staff were ready, the service was pleasant. Food service was slightly slow and on this occasion we found one pancake had been scorched, plus the poached eggs on another dish were not runny. This is points off in my book! However, there were numerous positives about the Modish5 experience and I'd be happy to return one day.

Really disappointed this place used to be amazing with the old owners since change of ownership the quality has gone down all those personal touches are gone. We ordered the kids pancakes which were uneditable by my 6 year old they were like cardboard no fairy floss anymore when I asked for a side of strawberries they told me they couldn’t do that when I asked for no blueberries that’s all we got in it every I requested like ice cream in it we didn’t get it. We used to love this place it used to be our regular but no longer will we return
