Dined at this great restaurant for my 65th birthday celebration on 20 April, after noting the excellent reviews. It certainly lived up to the high standards of its reputation, with superb service and a very tasty menu. All meals are generally designed to share. The hummus and the chicken liver parfait were my favourites, both small plates but suitable for two. We ordered all three mains, which ended up too much food for 5 people. Gnocchi was the best, but all great. Hint - Unless you are a very big eater, order individual serves rather than the full menu option, with a maximum 1 small plate and one main per couple. It will be plenty, they are very generous servings. Best to go with a party of four or more, because you then can enjoy multiple dishes.

Damn this place is yummy. Had the feed me lunch and it was such a great meal. We are vegetarian but the food was varied and delicious. Wine list is amazing too! I loved loved loved the sour creme dip (veggie option had grated horseradish). The gnocci was amazing. Our token meat eater loved the Oysters too. The setting is gorgeous and relaxing and the crowd and vibe was hip and modern. Eat here!

The menu is superb. Restrained, not pretentious, no ego, not 5000 choices, just good, wholesome, quality food. While I am a fussy gnocchi eater (I think my gnocchi is the best), I had to admit that the porcini mushroom gnocchi was so beautifully executed, cooked to perfection with a great balance of flavours. The lamb was delicious, again, no weird, over-the-top excessive ingredients, just classy, tasty food. The hummus was stunning, I over-dosed on the focaccia and the salmon’s flavours bounced around in my mouth with delight. Our waiter was so nice – big shout-out to him (sorry didn’t ask his name), and the food arrived on time – in a really nice restaurant setting. I can’t find anywhere who your chefs are, but THANK YOU for your skill. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I loved how I wasn’t served a wanky-ego on a plate. So wholesome, so tasty. I've had friends visit at all times of the year, and it seems they are consistently excellent.
