Fish Head

WOW! The best curry i have not made! Had a fish men plate and the sauce was super tasty, if i want to be picky my fish was slightly too done. Could do with a bit more fish with the price 😉. Overall it's worth the money curry. Husband had chicken curry again the sauce pretty authentic but i would prefer chicken tigh than the oyster part we didn't get much meat in it. We had fried eggplant for starter and it was scrumptious too. The service is very attentive. Looking forward to try others things and see us soon.

The waiter just seems to be not interested working which is not a good start when you first walk into a restaurant. We ordered a bottle of wine which wasn't pour and top up throughout the dinner. The food is overly sweet and dry. The duck, the fried chicken satay, the lamb rib, the pork belly was tough rather than crackling. The worst was the fish curry which described as Malaysian curry but it tasted exactly like Thai choochee curry and tiny serve, hardly any fish in there. Everything tasted like sweet Thai food and a bit of Indian, there is no traces of Indonesian and Malaysian as advertised, very disappointed.

The food was awesome. There were four of us and we had an array of food to share. The beef cheeks is a must. The flavours were amazing. I'm not a big seafood fan but the soft shell crab was delicious. We also had eggplant fritters, samosa and a few more dishes that I can't remember. However, all I can say they were all delicious. The pricing is reasonable, what you'd expect from a good restaurant. Had the opportunity to meet the owner as well. It's on my list to go again.
