Beijing Tokyo

I am very happy with their service and the taste of most of their food. However, when I placed an order of a L8 (chow mein and rice with a choice of one side) the sides say chicken fingers, or chicken wings, (notice how they are plural, as if you get more than one) They are all the same price for sides unless you get an egg roll and that's $1.50 extra. I ordered a spring roll for my side and it was incredibly small. I only got one, and it was very mushy, like it was frozen and microwaved. There was barely anything in it. It was basically just a mushy thing I ate in two bites. Other than that, I enjoyed the food very much. I'll just never get the spring rolls again when I come back here. I'll pay extra for the egg roll and hope that is better, or I'll get a different side.

I went up to Littleton to see my brother Raju. We stumbled across this restaurant on Labor Day. The outside of the restaurant looked a little tired and dated. The greeter and keno guy was super friendly. But the biggest surprise was the freaking food was amazing. Everything was delicious. The spareribs had a little secret honey 🍯 sauce drizzled on top. The salt and pepper wings were spectacular. I hate peas and carrots in my pork fried rice, but yesterday changed my mind. The pupu platter for 2, was enough for 3 of us. Ordered the red dragon maki (Spicy Tuna and Avocado topped with Tuna, Scallions, and Chef's special sauce), dynamite maki ( Deep fried Salmon, Asparagus, Kani, Cream Cheese, and Tobiko topped with Eel sauce and Spicy mayo), and dragon maki (Avocado, Cucumber, and Kani topped with Eel and Avocado). We sat outside and enjoyed the sushi, all were prepared extremely well! We loved each bite. Service was extremely kind and there's plenty of parking in the area.

UPDATE: I wrote the review below when we had just moved to the area and were checking out the local sushi restaurants. Beijing-Tokyo quickly became -- and remains -- our "family favorite" (by a long shot). Everything about B-T is above par. When it's "sushi night," we really don't go anywhere else. ----- Nice atmosphere, very good service, staff are friendly, nice menu. The sushi/sashimi menu is not as extensive as many sushi restaurants, but the maki selection is pretty extensive, the sashimi portions are very generous, and the maki are well prepared and delicious. Everything is very nicely presented. I will definitely be coming back here.

I've been to many of the Chinese restaurants in the Acton area and I find Beijing to be one of the freshest and tastiest around, plus inside atmosphere is nice and staff is very friendly, you wouldn't be able to tell driving up to it as the outside of the building is a bit dated but thats ok everything else makes up for that. Well worth the visit if you're in the Acton/ Central MA area.
