My husband and I travel to Abilene once a month and we like to try different burger places. This one was top notch fresh beef, bread, veggies. Wednesdays is special on chicken fry and my hubby loved it. I got the the bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions and mushrooms on wheat bun and it was so good to eat. Yummy!

Food was really good -- especially the onion rings. It's a little pricy though -- for burgers and such. Went there with my wife and together we ordered two burgers, one fry, one onion ring, two drinks and it came out to over $38 with tax. Would have given five stars if better value. However would go again, and do recommend.

It’s a large open restaurant that is set up as order and sit style. They have big yummy portions with something for everyone. My daughter said the fries could be more salted (they tasted fine to me- she may have a sodium content problem) The larger tables in the back room can accommodate large group and the front seating area has plenty of 2-4 topper tables. You fill all the drinks yo’self and there is a big roll of paper towels on the table. This is not a place to go if you want to be waited on or wine and dined. This is a place to get big portions of food, a beer, and a good laugh. The ambiance is light hearted/ fun with good music and sports TV playing. Overall, the food is good but kinda pricey. The burgers didn’t blow my mind but I’m also full and satisfied.
