A go to place in the neighbourhood. Friendly family atmosphere with a book sharing corner. I love the French Lamb Cutlet, Avocado Twist, Tagliatele, and so many more. Cheers to Chef Daven Jay. They also have very good croissants in the morning! The staff are like family already.

Ordered Atlantic salmon which was overcooked and vegetables served with salmons were not soft enough for me. Stuffed chicken tasted good. Overall food was ok but portions were a bit on the smaller side.

Nice place during the pleasant weather in Dubai, food wise is average - tried their waffles, burrito, bagels - all of them came out as expected. Service is pretty good, they make an effort to ensure you are taken care off. A good place to come by and stretch your mid afternoon with a good coffee and snack

Food is good, but 50% of the time I order from there takes them longer than 1:30 minutes to prepare a simple dish like eggs. If you want to order from there make sure you do it one day in advance to get your food on time. Done from this place there are better options that care about sending the food on time.

I don't understand how this little place is not packed. ( and im a true foodie) The menu is really thought out to cover everyone's tastes. The price are decent. Lamb chops less than 50aed with kale and mixed chunky chips that are to dye for! Come and support them guys. I promise you will be back again!

Food was good but not good enough to wait 1h 30 min to deliver breakfast.... I highly suggest that it's time to look over your logistics and planning. The excuse that you have 6 other deliveries is really not the customers issue, using this as a reason for the late delivery is really not my concern. That's just bad planning.

Went for a business lunch in Bert’s cafe with my colleagues....this is not the first time I m going there..although the service is little slow which is a real problem for us who go there in limited lunch period only ..but no doubt I always love d food..presentation..ambience and the behavior of d staffs. This time one of my colleague was wishing me belated birthday which was heard by the staff “Manju”...and widin 10 min she came back wid a cake and candle ..this was really unexpected and amazed us.

It is taking 2:30 to deliver in a location literally 10 minutes away and I called them 3 times they saying in 5 minutes will arrive they made cancel my plans and miss the lunch so disposing very very bad <br/>

What a start to the day. Amazing breakfast and wonderful service by Surendra. We tried the mushroom Benedict and avocado Benedict - the portions are huge and healthy and very filling. Salmon was fresh and eggs were perfectly cooked. Cappuccino was great too ,will be back again for sure . Surendra has been super helpful with service and suggestions.

My husband had his book signing last week and we decided to do it in Bert's. I cannot recommend it enough.<br/>Their desserts are absolutely fantastic, the Brownie and Pecan cake were everyones favourite! They have the best cheesecake in my opinion. I've also had their veggie and vegan menu and its superb too. My husband is hooked on their burger. Their omelettes are lovely and they serve RAW coffee. It also happens to be pet friendly! Staff are so helpful and lovely. I just always wonder if they put enough marketing into this as its underrated. I love love this place.

Fantastic foody affair at Bert’s cafe, a hidden gem in the Greens. Reasonably good portions and great flavors coupled with friendly service 🙂 Tried the stuffed chicken, the sea bass and the buckwheat pasta and looking forward to try some more dishes soon. Good job.

Fantastic dishes and healthy selection. Particularily love the salmon, sea bass dishes but many others too. We love this little gem in the greens and staff are always friendly and welcoming.

I visited the place for breakfast with two of my friends who were visiting Dubai. Both my friends took Eggs Benedict each, and I had Smoked Salmon Bagel. As for the drinks we had hot chocolate and tea. We had good quality of food and drinks and the service was very good.

So I don’t have cutlery and thought to order a burger. Guess what, the burger had no bun because the bun is replaced with mushroom, and they didn’t bring cutlery and they didn’t bring the French fries. This is more than a fallout, when someone pay for something and don’t get it then by definition it’s a s**m.

We had a very bad experience dining in Bert's Café - The greens.<br/>We have ordered 2 Quinoa Salads. The order took around 25 minutes to be served knowing that the restaurant was not busy at all. (2-3 tables)<br/>For the first time, the chef forgot to add the dressing for the salads. After we started eating, we remembered that the Quinoa salads usually come with Avocado. Guess what? The chef also forgot to add the avocado so they gave us sliced avocado separately.<br/>The Quinoa Salads were composed of 95% Quinoa , 4% chicken and 1% of green peppers and avocado.<br/>The waitress was polite and always smiling.<br/><br/>Yum2be says: No!!

Took way too long to prepare the meal, the whole experience was ridiculous and took over 1.5 hrs to deliver... when it came the food was cold. It’s not the first time this place has done it and it’s not the driver it’s poor planning, if you are going to deliver to people make sure you prep for it. Both times I spoke to he driver, they both sat waiting whist Berts took their time... ?

Lovely breakfast spot. We had an acai bowl and Croque Madame. The acai bowl was colourful and quite good. The Cafe mocha was very heavy but lovely.

Still haven’t received my order nearly two hours after placing it but that’s not even the worst part. When speaking with two different people who work there both times they blamed the delivery driver - meanwhile I had the driver on another line and he was still in the restaurant! When confronted with the lie the manager blamed his worker (also not her fault!) and hung up on us. Mistakes happen, but to blame other hard working people who had nothing to do with it is unforgivable. Will never ever eat from here again and would encourage others not to either.

i am in a search of good smoothie and i am a big fan. i decided to order from this cafe through online. i would say that their smoothie is nice, they have good choices of smoothies plus i can tell that they don't use sugar, which a lot of restaurant out sugar or simple syrup.

The review based on a delivery order. I tried their Açaí bowl and crepes. The açaí bowl was quite colorful and amazing with a variety of fruits on top. The Nutella strawberry and banana crepes was quite ok, but not the best. The dough was quite dry and crunchy. Overall experience was quite satisfactory.

I just tried them with a delivery order... I ordered protein pancakes and acai bowl, the portion was perfect (in comparison with all restaurants that serve same acai bowl), and the taste was also good, the only thing that it was a bit pricey. But I highly recommend their Acai bowl :)

Nice cosy cafe with good food. Their coffee is really good as well. Nice to grab a quick bite and catch up with friends. Their staff is also friendly.

Dont ever order here!<br/>I used to go there a lot while living in the greens and food & service was always medium quality so I should know better not to order from here. Delivery is a pure desaster!<br/>We ordered BREAKFAST and after 2,5 hour we recieved cold and soggy food at 12:20.<br/>Paperbar was wet from sauces and i dont know what. Just disgusting. We threw everything away and waiting for our money to be reimbursed (was through my colleagues account)<br/>When calling them they had no idea where our food is.<br/>Typical Bert's unporfessionality and i-dont-care- personality.<br/>My bad...i knew it, i should have warned my colleagues. But now they know :)

Ordered a Bagel with cream cheese, avocado and bacon. The Bagel was good but bit on the oily side. The order is supposed to come along side with Mixed greens but that never came which is disappointing. Delivery was quick.

Bert's Cafe calls itself French but serves you global cuisine in some kind of way. The shrimps were cooked nicely my meal was served hot.<br/><br/>The minus point of this place<br/><br/>1. A guy dressed in dirty grease green shirt placed the food on the counter and there were few flies that came with him. I am sure this was not the chef.<br/><br/>2. Asian curry: Lacked taste All I could taste was coconut milk<br/><br/>3. Brazilian rice is supposed to be cooked in garlic and oily to lock the flavors and to give it glossy look then it is boiled. What I had was just steamed rice with coriander.<br/><br/>Seriously guys, you are in The Greens you do have a lot potential if you really do improvise.

I odered Cob salad and crepes with caramel and fruits. Everything was very good. The delivery time was pretty fast maybe because of my location as I live in the Greens. I have lived in the Greens almost six years and sometimes take food from Bert's. As for me it is the most decent cafe in our location. I am very surpised by negative reviews. They really deserve better rates.

Love the fact that they serve one of my favorite coffee which is RAW ... tried their chocolate fondant with the coffee it was ok.. staff is friendly and helpful.. they have nice outdoor area in the winter... i didnt try their food yet... will try it next time and let you know

We ordered the prawns tagliatelle and the steak and fries; the food is ok. The staff is friendly, but what i like most about the place is the fact that they allow dogs. They even give little bowls of water to our furry friends. I will definitely be going there just for that.

Bert's is located in the heart of Greens community with classic interiors and outdoor seating available. I came down to grab a quick meal - Quinoa with crispy chicken & pomegranate along with Energizer juice: a fusion of carrot, apple & ginger. The meal was refreshing, the crispy chicken was a great addition but overall lacked basic seasoning. The portion was pretty decent but definitely overpriced.

became pretty horrible over time. it used to be much better and the food actually had quality. now every single thing that used to be great became nasty. me and my uncle ordered the new surf and turf platter, which took about an hour to come, and we were greeted with undercooked chicken, dry beef steak rubbery fish and nothing had any decent taste. they were either seasoned too much or had no taste. the side salad was lame and the potatoes were just boring and bland. no dish leaves you thinking "oh i wanna come back there". most of the sandwiches that have salad in it feature brown leaves of lettuce that taste bitter and their bread is often cold and tasteless. the crepes are always undercooked and mushy. the service is super slow and the staff often makes silly mistakes such as wrong orders or ignoring cooking instructions given by customers. this restaurant used to be one of my favorites but everything has lowered in quality now.

twice in 2 weeks my order was not correct from Bert's, last week only half my order arrived , today order arrived 1hour 25mins after I placed the order, I had already left for work,I will not order from this restaurant again

Really uncourteous staff, who speak in extremely mean tones .. especially in the night .. they started pushing us from 11pm saying the cafe closes at 11.30. Well, the least they can do is update the timing on Zomato.

Very upset and disappointed. I used to love Bert's but the quality really isn't the same anymore. We recently ordered 3 times and everything was tasteless. My croissant was hard as a rock, my pasta was just covered with plain cream and my cappuccino was nothing more than coffee with water. Please do something !!

Why go there:<br/>Decent neighborhood breakfast <br/><br/>A cozy, friendly, low key place for people in The Greens. I have been there a number of times for breakfast and once or twice for a healthy dinner. They make decent eggs, especially eggs Benedict with asparagus and smoked salmon. French Toast is also worth trying. <br/>Good bagels too. My favorite is Smoked Salmon with cream cheese bagel. Also something you should try with the morning coffee.<br/>I have ordered in their quinoa salad with diced chicken and pomegranate. Loved it.

Some work in Greens took longer that expected and hunger pangs called out to us. We walked over to Berts. An egg white omelette with herbs and steak sandwich with caramelized onions was ordered. The omelette was good but that steak sandwich had super tough over cooked beef strips. So that plus slightly over done bread was quite difficult to each. If I go again, will stick with the breakfast menu. <br/>

The only reason we go there, is the location, the nice outdoor and greenery that surrounds the place. Otherwise we wouldn't bother. The food is a horrible attempt of healthy food, it's tasteless and not even up to standards. It's very over priced. Service is very slow and staff are clueless.

I ordered a grilled vegetables sandwich. It was pretty basic with a side salad. Expected a lunch but it was a breakfast portion.<br/><br/>Although I like love their pesto pasta. That comes in a very good quantity among the many other things.<br/><br/>Also the pesto, mozzarella and tomato bagel sandwich tasted good but lacked quantity. It wasn’t a lunch item. Maybe good for breakfast.<br/><br/>The broccoli soup was very bland. Although the bread bowl in which it was served was good.<br/><br/>I like their iced latte.<br/><br/>Price:<br/>The value of the food was not worth it. Food was good.<br/><br/>Food portions: <br/>Portions very average and filling but not satisfying.<br/><br/>Ambience:<br/>The outdoor seating was the best part of the experience.<br/><br/>Overall average cafe. First time I check out this place. Ordered food for breakfast but I want not impressed. Eggs Benedict with salmon was Ok. Eggs were cooked almost all the way through. Their cookies were a bit stale. The croissant with avocados and turkey ham wasnt good as the croissant was a couple of days old. The muffin wasnt really tasty either. Went to this place last night for a meeting with my client . The place was sought of packed and I decided to go for a americano . It was freshly prepared and served to me within 5 mins of time along with 2 mini chocolate biscuits . The coffee was strong and it was good enough . Ambience wise also this place was decent and so was the staff . When it comes to the pricing this place is not expensive at all .

Just dropped by for a quick bite and ordered a flat white and a crepe mexicane. The coffee was so so but the crepe was horrendous. The crepe was too thick and the egg was overcooked and there was no flavour. It seems like a filler it on the menu. I came here because they're sandwiches I remember were good. Not coming back.

Not sure what has happend here but there has been a huge improvement from last time I ordered. The food came fast and hot and was value for money. I had the breakfast wraps with hash browns and beans. I will be sure to order again. Well done berts
