(التعليق الأصلي) Tried Elco as I was in mood for Indian street food and was reminiscing my experience at Elco, Bandra hill road. The place had good number of open seats and couple of customers. However, I noticed that they don't sanitize the tables for the next customer, after a customer leaves. The team was friendly and was even open to suggesting items. Their Pani puri, Misal pav and Bhel puri was brilliant as usual. However, I am afraid that I can't say the same regarding their Chinese Bhel, masala soft drink and Nimbu Jaljeera. Pani puri was nice and crispy. The liquid filling was nice and cold to make it wonderful. Misal pav had a good balance of spiciness and tanginess. The remarkable thing was that it was not very oily. Bhel puri had a nice mix of crunchiness and tanginess. The taste was perfect and they didn't overdo the Chaat masala. It will be an understatement if I say that the Chinese Bhel was a disaster. The Bhel was soggy and not crispy. The taste was on the sweeter side and had very little spice. At one point I was wondering whether I was having a dessert.The food had insane amount of red food colour that my mouth started looking like that of a dracula by the end of it. The drinks that were recommended by the staff were also a major let down. The masala soft drink was an overload of Chaat masala that it completely masked the taste of soft drink and their Nimbu Jaljeera had a taste of chemical concentrate. Overall a decent experience. I was not very happy to see their sanitization and the management should keep a strong check on it.

But I am highly DISSAPOINTED with unhighgenic greasy, unprofessional thing, I went elco Kamara branch more then 15 times. 5 times I have received food with HAIRS and also few times they has added extra thing in the bill which is I don't even have ordered. The difference of payment 30 aed and sometime more then this few times I have spoke to management but they are not regret of mistakes no oppologisation and blaming costomer that I am the first who gets hair in the food they did not have received any complaint axcept me.. I have checked their reviews their is many client have received the food with hair but they are heading mistake instead of repairing. who would like to eat food with hair??? Heighly dissapointed feel bad with management rude behaviour. I will never eat again in Elco Restuarent Karama branch. Thanks.

So I placed an order through a delivery app. They had accepted the order quickly. I was surprised to receive a call from a gentleman called Kishore after 45 minutes of placing the order and them accepting it. He called to say that he was sorry they could not accept the order anymore since the item i ordered is sold out. Either my order value was too small or else it took the gentleman 45 minutes to realize that the items were out of stock. Pity on this joint. As they say the first impression spoils it all. Never going back again. And will pass this to my friends and family too. I had no option but to give 1 star.... Thanks anyways.
