My missus and myself went for their Friday brunch. The place downstairs is a lounge and upstairs is a sports bar. They do have a DJ for the brunch, so you can enjoy your drinks with some groovy tunes. I would say that it’s a proper value for money considering the quality of food and drinks they offer. Their food is very delicious and their starters go very well with drinks. We tried their Crispy Calamari, Mini Sliders, Grilled Prawns, Mozzarella sticks, Onion Rings, Chicken Satay for our starters and a Beef Steak and Seabass for the mains. We both enjoyed their food. Kaye served us well and the orders came in without any delay. Keep up the good work ICON! Sure to visit you guys more often. Cheers 🥂

We have been to ICON last week for a Friday brunch. Orders were made per a la carte. The starters were marvelous along one of the finest fresh orange juice in town. Main courses were excellent although Tikka Masala was served with a twist. The sweats were mouth watering with very refreshing Eton mess. The atmosphere was very cozy sitting in the lounge since we have kids. The staff were very friendly with unparalleled service. Mary was in charge of us, her smile, kindness and dedicated service were unprecedented. The amenities are perfect. I highly recommend this place.

The major advantage with the ICON is that it’s centrally located. Valet is a bit of a congestion from my experience. Bar is on the far end. Service is good during happy hours, but nothing exceptional. It’s good the Zomato Gold offer on the drinks works well out here. Staff is friendly. Bar bites meet your expectations. Chicken tenders. Iconic tenders, we were told. These were the reason we paid ICON bar and lounge a visit. Thanks to our bad luck, they were out of tenders. But we survived and enjoyed a great dinner with the nachos, fried calamari and pizza. It was a delicious selection!

It was our first visit to Icon Bar & Lounge and we had good time. Icon Bar & Lounge has two floors- a lounge area in the ground floor and a bar area in the first floor. As we wanted to have a quiet evening, chatting and dining with a drink or two, we sat in the lounge.

With zomato gold you can get one on one on drinks. So, its pretty cheap in comparison with other lounges. There was a time we'd frequent this place for the Friday brunch but that was perhaps 5 years ago.<br/>This time, I went in with my colleague to grab lunch after a meeting and we ordered bangers and mash for myself and grilled chicken for my colleague.<br/>The gravy served with the bangers and mash was disgusting and way too salty and if they didn't make us wait an hour to get our food I'd have immediately returned it, as it is we went in for lunch at 4 p.m. and we didn't get our food till 5 p.m.<br/>Their happy hour begins then and they were crowded and catering to the regulars which is such a shame because our server disappeared after taking our order and we didn't see him for the rest of our time there and had to ask 3 other servers to check up on our food.<br/>Back to the food;<br/>The bangers and mash, terrible cause the amount of salt /sodium, honestly inedible and I wasted half of it if not all the gravy.<br/>The grilled baby chicken, the skimpy and tiny parts of the chicken for AED 85 wasn't worth the price cause my colleague too left the place still hungry.<br/>How the place has changed! What a shame! Genuinely used to enjoy their brunches and now cannot even have a simple lunch meal without terrible service, poor quality food, and ridiculously overpriced mains that don't justify anything about the place.

It’s more into a sports bar with pool table and screens all around . Smokers will like it there . Had to pay 50 AED for the valet parking as they didn't accept to stamp my valet parking card because the bill was under 150 AED. Manager wasn't friendly at all.

The portion was quite big for lunch but unfortunately was mostly tasteless. I wouldn’t be having again :(

The best pizza I had in Dubai. And I am a huge pizza conosseur! 2 for 1 with entertainer vouchers and happy hour deals! Too good to be true. I highly recommend 4 cheese pizza and capricciosa pizza, as a starter the BBQ chicken wings are amazing and come with a side of curly fries. It's very easygoing and great for after work hanging out, indoor smoking is allowed on the upper lever where you can play pool.

Icon lounge is another of these Jekyll & Hyde type places in Dubai. Downstairs is a pleasant bar, very relaxed and a bit more intimate than the usual hotel lobby type bar. However unless you're in Media City and fancy an after work drink, it's not the kind of place you'd make a special trip to visit. <br/>Upstairs is a proper old fashioned expat type pub. Walking into the place is equivalent of smoking half a pack of Marlboro. Don't wear a white t-shirt, it will quickly turn yellow from nicotine stains. If you're spending too much of your salary on cigarettes, passive smoking here is free. However that said, sometimes that type of place is fun, particularly when watching a game with a raucous crowd. I'd love to tell you about the food, but I lost the sense of taste after three breaths.

A good place to come have casual drinks after work since its located in Media City. The perks are the happy hours after work which is a great deal. Disastrous experience with poor slow service! ordered the Thyme marinated chicken salad with Parmesan, tomato confit and walnuts only to receive something completely different. No Parmesan, no tomato confit and certainly no walnuts. When I tried to explain to the chef what was missing only to found out that he does not even know the difference between fresh cherry tomatoes and confit!! What a shame!

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday. There's a business lunch menu (which is not on the zomato app for some reason) where a lot of nice looking meals are available for 59aed. My friend tried the grilled chicken breast and I had the rib eye steak (medium) with mashed potato and grilled vegetables. We both had a pint of beer.<br/><br/>My friend liked his chicken. My steak was garnished with garlic butter which made it tasty. The mash and vegetables were also nice. My only problem was that there was way too much fat on the steak, and did this spoil it for me, as it was so tough and fatty that I had to spit some of it out and leave some left on my plate.<br/><br/>We sat outside and the service was decent. Although the food took a bit longer to arrive than it has done on previous visits. This is a convenient place to come for lunch if you work nearby as you can be in and out within 50 minutes.

Cute and cozy bar in Media city neighborhood. It totally changed its look and feel since the last time I been there 4 years ago. What a pleasant surprise! We went there for a drinks and tapas after a long busy day at work and it was real pleasant experience. We ordered to share chicken satay with peanut sauce, beef tartar, meat cold cut platter and cheese platter. I personally really liked beef tartar the most. But the rest of the dishes were tasty, nicely presented and enough for sharing. By 7 pm Icon bar became full and had a vibe which made us stay even longer. I will totally come back there for a glass of wine and few bite after long working day sometime very soon.

Since Icon is located right next to where I work, I tend to frequent it with friends quite a lot. Their lunch offers are a good bargain when looking for a substantial meal for lunch. I usually order their Char-grilled Beef Tenderloin and it is absolutely one of my favorite steaks in Dubai--tender, tasty, and cooked to perfection.<br/><br/>The staff are very accommodating and sweet.<br/><br/>My only problems with the venue would be the fact that indoor smoking is permitted, the place tends to get extremely stuffy, and also the amount of time it takes for your meal to finally arrive. I realize that lunchtime is the time when it's full, but expect a minimum of 45 minutes for your food.<br/><br/>All in all, I would go again and would recommend it to friends.

When I’m in the Media City area and I need to burn some time , I drop by Icon. I always ordered the chicken satay but the taste is average so not really worth trying. On my last visit there, I tried the beef burger with blue cheese and it was super surprisingly good! Juicy, meaty and amazing!

The service is always excellent and the staff welcomes you by name if you come more than once. The menu is actually pretty good for bar food, but by no means is it a real dining "experience." Drinks are very expensive, but happy hour deals are great.

PS. (The music upstairs is way too loud. I mean let's face it, there is no dancing and everybody there are drinking, eating and most importantly, talking. Why does the DJ make it so hard for us to talk? This is from somebody that goes there on a daily basis. )<br/>=========================<br/>This is the place I frequent. My work place is nearby and we get a very good discount. The food is amazing. I wish Zomato app allows us to insert more photos when editing a review. I go there so often these days, the chef comes out to greet me because he recognizes the extra requests on my order. He is constantly looking to perfect the food he serve. I just love people who are so into their art. Lamb shank and baked sea bream is a must try. Love it. Downstairs is non smoking and upstairs is filled with smoke. Even smokers find its ventilation lacking. Staffs are friendly and hardworking but they can use a few more during lunch time. Alcohol not available during Ramadan. Good place for media city agency crowd to grab a pint. Downstairs is non smoking, but dead. Upstairs is way too smoky but where you need to sit. Don't eat here, even after a few, it'll still taste bad.

I went there because the tamayni terrace was closed. The place is on the first floor of the west tower. The ambience is great and the drinks are reasonably priced for a place located in the media city. The food was a disappointment though. Didn't enjoy any of the starters and two of the three dishes on the table were left practically untouched. I will probably go back there for an afterwork drink since its close to my office but never stay for dinner.

Our visit to Icon was rather a disappointment. One would expect snappy service at a hotel of Radisson's stature, but they fell short of the mark on numerous counts. To begin with, service was far too slow, with glasses sitting empty on the table for as long as 25 minutes. Our seafood - the Icon Combo, and Fried Calamari - tasted stale and soggy. Not something you'd really want from your fish dishes. Refreshingly, though, the beers were well chilled. The silver lining was the number at the bottom of the bill, with four of us running up a tab of roughly Dhs 300 for drinks and three starters. Despite being reasonable value for money, I think I'll be looking at other destinations for drinks in the future.

Staff we’re very friendly and accommodating. The menu selection is great and the sheesha was amazing. There was one instance where I had to charge my phone and the receptionist offered to take my phone and charge at her desk.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing menu earns them a 5 star from me.
