Visited this beautifull little tavern on my 45tj birthday as my wife heard it sold Hawkstone lager on draft and had a good range of pies! …
The food was horrible. My burger wasn’t fresh at all as hard as rubber. Roast beef was dry and white. Gravy was lumpy and potatoes solid. Straws were also cut in half. Only offered a free meal but don’t want to accept it as don’t want to go back after that experience. Very poor. However the staff were polite.
A nice place to go in for a drink, but we ended up waiting an hour for food and when the food arrived it wasn’t particularly special. …
