An iconic coffee shop right in the heart of Wilmington. I love grabbing a cup of joe before walking around downtown. They have iced and hot coffee and just about every variation you can think of. I love they have different flavors of the day for you to enjoy. The prices are great and the service is always super friendly and welcoming. There is space inside, in the cotton exchange and outside to sit at.

Another "Escape the Interstate" but more of a coffee break during a conference review of a local place Java Dog.
5 stars for sure, tucked into a quaint historical building with other fun shops. Great espresso machine pulls the perfect shots. Full bodied Americano with caramel and oatmilk for a lovely caffeinated morning. I have a busy day at a well needed conference I am attending to ban PFAS that has contaminated communities across the US at the the local community College. This is a lovely town 😀

I like that they allow dogs, but this really isn't a sit-down coffee place, not that Wilmington has many. Fast food coffee.

Favorite coffee house! I come here normally a couple times a week. It is super close to the CFCC campus, just a couple minutes walk. The coffee is great, and the staff is super friendly. They have a nice upstairs where you can sit and get some work done! Check it out if you’re downtown!

I've actually only been here a couple times, but I do like the atmosphere and the service is good. The coffee drinks are pretty good, too! Honestly, I could take or leave the whole dogs allowed thing, being more of a cat person, so long as they're well behaved I'm cool with it. A visit to this place is fun on the rare occasion I make it downtown.

Berry-Peach Heaven. Today I was at the Cotton Exchange and decided to get a smoothie while I was walking around. The staff is super nice and made a smoothie flavor that wasn't even on the menu (peach-strawberry). The prices are a little steep (not as bad as Port City Java or Starbucks) but the chill atmosphere and cute decor make up for any fault in pricing. Overall, I completely recommend this place.

HUH?!. This place is okay, coffee is fine, everything is reasonable. Even though it says they are vegan-friendly, I don't believe having a soy milk option and a couple of bagels is really that vegan-friendly but that's not my issue. This place is SO loud. Between the noisy blenders, grinders, whatever and the employees either gossiping, a lot louder than you'd think is appropriate, or arguing with each other I can't hear the person sitting less than two feet away from me and he can't hear me. I stopped even trying to read in here because that's never going to happen. I don't know if this is fixable or not but it just might make my choose another coffee shop to sit at. Although I do like that you're allowed to bring your pup!

Great locally roasted coffee for a great local coffee house. Support your local coffee shop and their uniqueness. In the cotton exchange area of downtown with a nice staff.

Old frequent customer. I used to go to Java Dog every single day that I had classes at Cape Fear. So much better than Port City Java. I'd go upstairs in between classes with a book and read/study or meet class members there to cram before a test. The owner knows all of his customers and remembers your order! He even gave me a free Java Dog shirt one day because I was a regular. Really cool LOCAL place!

I loveee it. This place is really great =] I go to the community college to get my GED, +so I enjoy going here bc the coffee is really good. Im also a HUGEEE dog lover, so the fact that u can BRING YOUR DOG INSIDE is awesome for me. =D
