Nice chill cafe set-up. Coffee is good but prefer some of the other amazing coffee beans Canberra has to offer (eg Ona).

The latte art at Lava Espresso Weston attempted to depict a swan. The execution, overall, wasn't bad. For the cappuccino that I ordered, the angle of the Swan's neck to rump was quite acute and unrealistic. That being said, my partner's swan was more realistic, perhaps depicting a Eurosiberian Mute Swan rather than Australian Black Swan. Overall, however, great coffee, great service, 5 stars.

Expensive, but really good coffee. They are “coffee people” so they are knowledgeable and care. Best I’ve had in the Weston Creek area.

Devine coffee, delicious toast, cool little joint. Love their toastie selection but haven't tried them yet.

Attended on a Saturday morning, it was a little busy so service was a bit slow, but the coffee was excellent. Next time we are visiting this side of the lake we will be sure to grab our flat white from here again!

Good coffee. Nice atmosphere. Nice & open in summer - not so stuffy as most places. Quite pricey - a dollar more expensive for my usual order. Chris' Patisserie next to them makes better Mochas, and nicer people.
