Booked this place on a whim, after coming to visit the Chiltern Hills for the weekend. So glad we did!
This is the exact type of pub food you dream of when going around these smaller towns.
Plus, they have some lovely cocktails! We had a Palermo.
Staff were all super friendly.

Fabulous Sunday roast and stunning fish dish. Desserts are refined and precise. Relaxed atmosphere with the perfect balance of classic dishes executed to fine dining standards.

This is a “must do” restaurant !! The meats were so succulent and tender - we tried pork loin and beef
Both amazing!
The beef was soft and pink and the veg selection was lovely too - very generous portions of meat and fabulous gravy!
Perfect starters and desserts and the wine complimented the meal very well. An espresso martini finished it all off perfectly

Wonderful little pub with an absolutely beautiful menu that changes regularly. One of the nicest meals we have ever had, and brilliant service all round too. We cannot wait to return when we are next in the area. Perfect for a special occasion, they deserve a Michelin star 🌟

Tom and Andrew have done a great job! Friendly service, lovely ambiance and the food is excellent. A bit more expensive than your average pub, but then again this isn't just average pub food. Well worth a look for a special occasion 😊
