Sub City

so the two guys that were in there they greeted me they were polite. The problem is a city in Waverley these days is the dry bread that falls apart when you eat it Years ago a couple ladies owned it and the subs were amazing they melted in your mouth. Anymore it’s disappointing when I go in there. Not due to the help but just the quality of the sub I feel is not as good as what it could be I love sub city in Waterloo I go there I can order soup through summer . In Waverley that’s not an option I know many people don’t eat soup during the winter so it’s not that big a deal I just prefer being able to go in and get soup. I like the Wisconsin cheese. I’m not gonna say I won’t go in there but I think twice about it when I do.

Not your typical sub shop. I had the turkey and provolone sub and it was delicious!! Totally different taste than Subway or Jimmy John's. The sandwich was delicious, generous portion size, and loved the combo of toppings and sauces. Skip the other sub shops and try this place!! I would definitely return!!!

We used to love the subs there. The bread was so good and over the last few years the bread has gotten worse. Not soft or delicious tasting like it used to be. Now instead of holding the contents in, it just drops. The size has been reduced too. While typically the ingredients are good, the way the bread is now kinda ruins it. Plus, some know how to wrap the finished sub and most do not.
