I was raised in Corpus Christi, the original home of Whataburger, so when it comes to eating at a restaurant anywhere outside of CC comes with some strict judgement. It's a matter of pride as many native Texans will tell you. I came in during a lunch rush on a Monday and ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a grilled chicken salad (my only meal for the day, lol). As usual there was a little bit of a wait but it was worth it. I unwrapped my sandwich and you see what I got. Everything was fantastic including the fresh veggies both in the sandwich and salad. The fried were absolutely perfectly done, crispy not soggy or old, and salted just right. It bright right back to CC, without the humidity or seagulls.

Whataburger is literally where the best greasy burger is. I've been to Whataburger's in many states and to be honest, this burger was the best I had ever had. The service was beyond my expectations and the price is comparable. I suggest ordering a triple Whataburger but a double hit the spot as well.
