Great seafood (personally rate it as the best in Toowoomba), definitely worth the short drive across town for a very satisfying better class meal and many others I have spoken to agree. Great friendly service. Order time to collection very good. Highly recommended. Well done team at The Lazy Fisherman Toowoomba 👍👍👍

Really great fish and chips, my favourite in Toowoomba. High quality food. I got the lunch special fish and chips which comes with a potato scallop and found it to be a very generous serving and really tasty. Really love getting my fish and chip fix from this place, highly recommend!!

I was told on Good Friday that potatoe Scallops are $6.50 each, I said but every where else they are around $2 each. He said thats our price and hung up on me. (very rude people). 0 stars

The food served here is great. Crisp chips, delicious seafood platter, cooked just right. And the Caramel Lattes where the best I’ve had for a while. Would recommend the “The Lazy Fisherman “ for a relaxing meal to take a break while shopping.

My wife and I felt like some take away to-night so rather than drive too far we chose The Lazy Fisherman which is close to home. We ordered 2 pieces of fish of the day 4 scallops and a seafood stick and believe me I was absolutely staggered when we found out the price what for it - $38.50 ($27 for 2 pieces of battered fish (cod), 4 scallops $8 and a seafood stick $3.50) The food was just very ordinary and we would have been better off going to the Cambooya Hotel for the half price beautiful meal on a Tuesday night. In hindsight we should have just cancelled the meal. never again.No wonder this place is always empty.

Service was shocking. Waited so long for 2 small pieces of fish, not worth the money. Ordered 2 milkshakes and these shakes come out after the fish in 2 small drinking cups. Will not be going back there. Need to improve their service and quantity of food.

Sadly, they have changed their potato scallops, and they are horrible tasting. Our dogs got to eat ours. Chips are also not as good as they once were. They only good thing was the Barra Fillet, but this won't be enough to make us go back ever again. Very poor.
