Probably the best plaice (geddit?!!) in Sutton for fish and chips. Unfortunately it isn't cheap as chips as the average fish and chips dinner will cost over £10 but it remains reasonable. They insist on cash only and don't accept cards. One doesn't have to be a tax accountant to figure that one out.
Updated. As of 13 June 2022, payment cards are now accepted.

I ordered through just eat and when my order arrived 2 cod was missing. When I managed to get through to the restaurant it turned out to be a mistake by the driver not the restaurant. The restaurant owner was absolutely lovely and delivered the missing food himself which was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be ordering again just not through just eat.

Great to see this place open & setup for safe business. Clear signs and perspex screen in place.
Open between 5pm - 9pm Monday to Saturday.
They are still cash only.

Sells great food for amazing prices, I had lunchtime deal which was medium fish, chips and drink for £5! Last week, I went to a different fish and chip shop, had the same meal, but cost double the price and was no where near as nice.
The gentlemen serving me was polite and friendly and dished up our food incredibly fast.

This is the best fish and chips in Sutton. Not only is the food absolutely lovely the staff are amazing and friendly. Definitely worth eating in their little seating area too!

If you ask they will batter pineapple or marsbars for you. Which is awesome. Love this place.
Can be busy in peak times. High demand for high quality...
So I always call ahead...just let the staff know you've already ordered or you may find yourself waiting in peak times to order and it's already ready.

My favourite fish and chips shop. Not gone anywhere else since I started coming here. Good and friendly staff, nice and fresh food, just love it. And after the refurbishment is even cleaner and nicer
