Always nice to return to this location as its ideal to visit Family and friends. Great rooms and great choice for meals. Ideal for trips to Arran and all along the west coast.

Unfortunately we received a very poor meal, after our first choice was unavailable. The steak pie was a very poor quality but after drawing the waitress Nicolas attention to this she dealt with the situation perfectly and resolved any problems.. Well done Nicola !!!

Great service from staff, all very friendly and accommodating. Quick service even though it was busy. Fantastic prices and great selection on the menu. The carvery was really tasty and plenty of food, some of our group also had from the main menu and the food was lovely. Will definitely be back.

Comfortable venue. Good value food. Good bar service. Varied menu. A good place for good value , no frills dining. Great for a quick tea time meal, which is what we wanted. Only downside was that one of our Jam Sponge desserts was slightly over microwaved.

Genuinely so impressed. Stayed in the rooms and quite taken aback by how good the customer service is at this hotel - pub staff and housekeeping are both great. Marstons in general have impressed me - easy and efficient when I called the central reservations booking line. Great price, and location perfect for me. I haven’t stayed with them before, but you’ve got a new customer here 👌🏼 Haven’t eaten at the pub yet, but looking forward to doing so.

New system of service, order at bar or scan from your table seems to work, I personally prefer full table service. My wife prefers the new system.The carvery today was a mixed experience. The meat dishes were very good, the roast potatoes weren’t really roasted and the root vegetables had gone very dry due to being on the hot plate too long. We’ve been to this carvery on several occasions, usually around 12.30pm and found everything at its best. Seems to me a bit more care over the Potatoes and vegetables is required.
The staff as always were very on top of there game.

Lovely meal at great prices. We went in a large group and the staff were great, Wee Erin was so helpful and Neilston was lovely when I was a bit picky and didn't want any fat on my slice of Turkey. I felt so welcome and comfortable. Only downside was roast potatoes weren't really roasted
