Ordered online for curbside pickup. Arrived and called the number twice with nobody picking it up. Went inside and found my order sitting there. Grabbed it, food was cold and shake was melted. They were not busy, just lazy. I use to love steak ‘n shake but don’t know if I will ever eat at one again. The Springfield franchise is a disgrace.

Steak n shake has drastically changed the way they are serving food. You order and pay at a kiosk screen, wait for your food, and pick it up at the counter. There is little to no table service and the menu is significantly reduced. The food was decently cooked and came out quickly. Just be prepared that this is not the same way they used to operate.

Ordered food for my daughter, drive thru, cheeseburger and cheese fries... no cheese anywhere. Called to find out a resolution, pretty sure random employee answered phone and pretended to be the manager. Got nowhere. Went back next morning and manager made it completely right with no problem. Initially angry, but manager making it right left me satisfied overall.

Haven't been to Springfield Steak n Shake in a few years because bad service. Went through the drive thru today about 2:30 p.m. Fast, friendly service and the whole order was right. Kudos Steak n Shake👏 I would love to start coming back

Drive thru order DISASTER. We visited on Tuesday evening around 7 PM. The staff were friendly enough, but our food was terrible. My son had a hair on his cheeseburger, my daughter's specialty shake that cost 3.00 was over half way full with whipped cream, and all of our fries were cold. Not to mention our cheeseburgers we ordered weren't accurate and had the wrong toppings on them. We will not be going back anytime soon.

Ordered through the app. The food was ready on time and was hot. The $4 meals are great, considering almost everywhere else is charging much more for less food.

Excellent shakes, the cheese burgers were wrapped so you could eat in car without a mess, appreciate the extra effort. Friendly window staff. This all while they were busy around 3:30 pm. Thank you

Just ordered here for the 1st time in years...
1) I had to order in store bc the app didn't work
2) The portions of food are like the child menu size anywhere else
3) The cost for the portions is horrible
4) The store was very dirty
5) The milkshakes were like drinking icy milk, not thick at all
6) Had to go home & make food afterwards
7) We will not eat here again
