Spring Creek Barbeque

The food is usually good at Spring Creek. They use real wood. The service is pretty impressive. They treat you right for the most part. I like that they bring you bread to the table and you can have as much as you want. The biggest problem with Spring Creek is the portion sizes of their meat. They're very skimpy on the portion sizes of meat. You can eat all the sides you want and get refills if you like. That's probably because they skimp you on the meat.

Great service, decor, and atmosphere...except for the 12 boxes of foil-wrapped future baked potatoes in the dining area. Food was just OK. My marbled brisket was pretty dry. Fried okra was good. They put WAAAAAY too much ice in the glasses so that I had to keep getting refills. Price was too high for the portion and quality. Their ice cream was off. Maybe it was from the recent storm. Seemed like it had partially thawed and refrozen. Drink prices are also too high. I might return to give them a 2nd chance, but likely not soon.

These guys hit it out of the park this time! (This was a Door Dash order, btw). I needed to call the store to clarify our order (my fault), and the person who answered was very courteous, cheerful, helpful (you know, all the Boy Scout traits) - it was a very pleasant phone experience. We got the food and both of our orders were perfect. (Including the most beautiful jalapeño known to man!) Since there is no such thing as perfection, I'll have to nitpick on how the pickle was cut. Pickles for Bar-B-Que are best sliced, not in spears. So there's that. I can't speak to any future successes, but they sure got it right this time!

A little disappointed today as we were really looking forward to coming to this location. Our location was the 1960 location which is now closed. My mom has been craving the spud or all the way brisket potato for awhile. It's so filling too! When we came in, the gentleman at the cutting board asked my mom what she wanted and totally overlooked me. I had to ask the second gentleman who fixed my mom's plate to double the order. He was supposed to get the plate from the first guy like an assembly line. He did a great job and made up for the first person. We paid, sat down, and everything went smoother from there. The cashier was sweet and bread lady making her rounds was on point. I still miss the 1960 location and may end up making 249 our new location. The food is always great! I do also appreciate the Support for Ukraine sign.

Love this place! I have really grown to like the Southwest Chicken Salad. I get extra chicken chopped up and it's amazing with honey mustard. All the staff is fantastic! The coconut cream pie is a great way to finish off your meal. And yes, they do carry Dr Pepper here! I've tried the stuffed baked potato with Pulled Pork instead of chopped beef, and it's a great substitution. I have never once had a bad experience at this location.

The best beef brisket in town. And the loaded baked potato all the was is to die for. You serve your own sides and pick up desert on the way to the register. And as I was sitting down eat and a lady walks up with a basket of free bread. And it was amazingly soft straight out of a bakery fresh. The staff was friendly and the establishment was clean.
