April '23 I'm starting to agree with the recent one star review in fact, I'm actually thinking of giving the cafe a miss once the loyalty voucher is redeemed. The staff are pleasant enough apart from the older lady who despite my having been a regular for a couple of years, struggles to say hello and smile. Today's toasted teacake was rock hard, the sandwiches/paninis and rolls are unpriced so you never know what the eventual bill is.
Sorry for having a right old moan but I do feel this cafe has a couple of issues.
August '23 I would like to say that following my first post, there's been a real improvement. The toasted cheese & mushroom sandwich was delicious, they've introduced sandwiches made to order and there was a warm welcome from the staff. I met up with a friend and we're sure to visit again.

Have been coming here for a while. Always get a lovely welcome from Amy and June who are always smiling and ready to chat. A lovely happy atmosphere. Have brought my elderly parents and young grandchildren to the bingo events which were very well organised and lots of fun. Just a lovely cafe!

I went here with my sister she buys a lot of the things here for her 2nd year granddaughter. I must admit it's a lovely atmosphere in their very friendly.
We stopped for lunch.

Great thriving coffee shop, always packed. Staff arwfabThe food and drink is amazing. Most of the proceeds go to charity, they're changing lives. Love meeting up with my friends there. Plus there's some great charity shops attached to the right that are part of the same organisation. Well worth visiting, then going for a shop too. Love it, love it LOVE IT!!!

What a special charming place!! Not only wonderful as a Café but also inspiring as a charity for mental wellbeing… staffed partly by volunteers.

PS: their charity shop Recon next door is a cut above most charity shops!

Lovely place with excellent ethos. Changes cafe has a great app called Zero Wasters above it and is attached to a fab charity shop of the same name all trying to promote change in approach to reuse of items and careful sourcing of ingredients. Will be going again regularly I hope
