Unexpected pleasure, prior to a production at Silver Spring Stage. Came in the front door, off Colesville Road, took a little bit for the server to notice us. Nice respite after a 70 minute drive from Springfield, VA.

Red Maple has some of the best sushi I've ever had. My favorite rolls have got to be the California Roll and the Yummy Roll. The downside with this place is that the wait time is terrible. The last time I went here, I had to wait an hour just for them to bring our Shrimp Shumai. If you want to get Red Maple I suggest ordering.

RED 🍁 MAPLE has an extensive Asian menu, so everyone's palate should be satisfied! My Aunt enjoys wonton soup and Kung Pao chicken, so those were her choices today.
The 🍲 soup was served with fresh, homemade crisps 🍟. Kung Pao 🐔 chicken can be seasoned to taste! She ordered it "medium" -- tasty, but not fire- breathing 🔥 hot. The portion was served with steamed rice, and large enough to feed two!
My selections were: seaweed salad (it reminds me of what I ate In Asia 😁); and Pad Thai 🇹🇭 with chicken (there are 4- options: seafood/ meat &/or veggies) -- served with lime 🍈 and crushed 🥜 peanuts plus bean sprouts. Again, the main dish was large enough for two to enjoy 😋.
Light- filled restaurant has plenty of parking. ♿️ accessible. Nicely decorated --&-- nicely spaced tables so you don't feel as though folks are right on top of you. Good service: attentive, and very helpful!!

Stopped here before our long trip back to MI. Very nice atmosphere and paintings. Waitress was really nice. The food was really good. calamari was tasty perfectly cooked

Lovely combination of low-key casual with remarkably good presentation of meals. If you order takeout here, you owe it to try the restaurant! Great food, friendly staff. Be warned, spicy means fire! Salmon special and crab rangoons are very good.

Lunch perfection! The sushi is fresh and delicious, they don't skimp on the fish and there's just the lightest amount of rice on the rolls! They also send you home with soy sauce in a container instead of the flat packets for optimal dunking! I go at least twice a month for the 2 roll lunch special with a spicy tuna and salmon avocado rolls. Not only is the sushi the best around but the prices are great too!
