Ihop

My waitress on her 4th day there was fantastic! The other waitress 1st told us there'd be a 20min waite.we we're going to leave when my waitress came right up to us and seated us. There was only 3 parties in the whole place. We were the 3rd. The other waiteress had 1 lg. Party 2 tables. Those people left as we ordered. Instead of the waitress bussing the table and cleaning it. She sat down doing silverware. Then as I understand went out for a smoke. Came back in sat back down. I sat there the 30min we were there looking at that mess. All the while the new waitress was working hard taking care of 4-5 tables alone. And she was presentable. The other waitress had on what look like a really old t-shirt and her hair was up but it looked unkept. Not what I would expect a waitress to look like. I would give 10 stars for my waitress alone but I gave a 2 because of the unprofessionalism of your other waiteress!!

Food was okay, service was sub-par and real sneaky. Charged us $8.99 to add blueberries to my pancakes that came with my 12.49$ omelet/ pancake combo even though waitress said it wouldn't be a problem while taking the order. My wife was charged an extra $8.99 for blueberries on her "Blueberry French toast" meal (10 total berries max). In total the breakfast was 76$ for 2 kids and 2 adults with 1 drink apiece (3 pancakes each child & 2 12.49 combo meals.. We ate at Olive Garden the night before for 74! Was planning on going back, after not visiting an IHOP for many years but after this experience I will never come back or ever suggest anyone goes this location.. Maybe it was just a rogue waitress trying to pad the check but after this I see why the place was empty.

DO NOT GO!! We will travel 20 minutes out of our way to go to a different location - First visit - I ordered the French toast combo, had a good conversation with the waitress about what I wanted for sides - the meal came out and it was just the French toast. I asked where the sides were that came with the combo- the waitress told me that I did not order the combo and any additional sides that she rings up now will be extra charged. I thought it was weird because when she took my order she asked what sides I wanted with my combo.. overheard table next to me order the French toast combo as well… they were met with the same fate - no sides, wrong meal. When it was time to pay - our waitress was no where to be found- we had to flag down a different server after waiting 20 minutes. When we walked out we saw our waitress outside smoking. Second time visit: empty parking lot, three other parties waiting in the lobby - no one greeted us or said they would be with us, just met with staff walking past us looking at us not welcoming. One of the gentlemen waiting said he waited 20 minutes before even getting a hello - we just walked out. We drove to Newington NH IHOP - greeted as soon as we walked in, server greeted us immediately and food came out in 10 minutes. Don’t go to seabrook - come to Newington best ihop around!! Seabrook has some staffing issues they need to resolve, servers smoking outside, no friendly staff - corporate needs to help them out!!
