The food was so tasty and the menu read very creative but didn't try to too hard like some "fusion" restaurants can be. The setting/decor is a perfect setting for date night. A hidden gem amongst lots of touristy places in North Beach... I'll definitely be back again!

We've eaten at Pesce e Riso at least 5-6 times since it has opened, as it's in the neighborhood - and could bit be happier with the food, wine or service. The Amorone is priced very reasonably by the bottle. Oysters and Dungeness crab are tops, but you really can't go wrong.

We discovered this place by accident and let me tell you, it was such a delightful surprise. The food was excellent, and truly perfect. A mix between Italian and Japanese cuisine but in the best way possible!!
The Waiter was really kind and funny!
Would recommend it 10/10!

Nice, date night atmosphere. Service was OK; nothing special. We came here on a Friday night with a reservation, but you could probably get by without one.
Food was interesting fusion of Japanese and Italian, but it didn’t blow us away. We liked the sushi with prosciutto

Come for the Dungeness crab on their seasonal prix fixe menu. Get one to share, as otherwise it is a whole crab per person, and you'll struggle to finish before it gets cold.
Menu is creative and has potential. Even though their tempura batter is light, I would avoid their fried appetizers.
Service was slower than expected (there's only one server) and the ambience could be greatly improved (ditch the Christmas lights and add some plants and warmer colors).

Delicious restaurant mixing italian cuisine with a Chinese twist. I had the « Arancini tuna rolls » and a glass of champagne, it was perfect.
The deco is very trendy cute, with a good music on a Friday night.

This place is Amazing.. its like a Asian goddess met an Italian stallion. Everything was delicious took X2 chicken liver and most of the dishes. the staff was very friendly and efficient especially Marcus the head Waiter. He was the best in the west. Also the two chefs who are creeping in to see if the guest are enjoying the food. Small and intimate for friends and family will definitely come again. Thank you for the full tummy!

A wonderful place. Living in North Beach, I have to say good Italian food is not quite as abundant as you'd think but this place really gets it right. It's the best of Italian with yet and interesting twist.

New restaurant in North Beach with clean and simple decor. Oysters were excellent. Italian- Japanese cuisine marries pasta and fish dishes together nicely. Ragu did not standout to us however we really enjoyed the whole fish. Waiter was very friendly and accommodating.
