Stopped here for lunch and had the Kings Club Sandwich and a coffee. Was really nice, staff are very pleasant and accommodating, atmosphere is chilled, in and outdoor seating available.

Feb '23 update: Still thriving despite an intermittently freezing then very wet December and January.
Vince and his team have persisted through the Covid Lockdowns and emerged the other side with a BBQ set up and more seating on the terrace and weather permitting the grass.

Tucked away round the back of the rebuilt Kings College pavillion. Everywhere looks better in the Summer & today the paving area was a real suntrap. Decent filter coffee, sprightly service and a bit of chat. Left before lunch but the soft rolls looked fresh. Will visit again.

Nice café. The service is quick and friendly, the club sandwich with chips and a cup of tea were most welcome. I particularly liked the way that either of the 2 staff would happily take orders, deliver them to the table and I think prepare them too. None of that being ignored by someone who is doing nothing

The food is simple well cooked with good portion sizes, plenty of seating inside/outside, will return.

This is a really nice cafe. Its very clean and the staff are so pleasant.. A large car park also.
This weekend we had a vegetarian breakfast and the most delicious ham and cheese toastie! A great cup of coffee and they also serve Earl Grey tea.
