Origin Coffee & Tea

Wonderful coffee shop that I visited while in town. It has great seating and a great vibe. Good for meet ups and great for studying. The food was tasty and their coffee is excellent with coffee from ONYX coffee roasters! The baristas were welcoming and helpful and definitely encourage others to visit.

Pros: I love that we have a local cafe to visit other than big chain coffee shops. Plenty of seating, I have only tried the avocado toast and oatmeal and both have been consistently good. I have only ordered a hot latte and it’s good. Cons: my husband likes to drink Espresso and it has been bitter every time we have gone vs other coffee shops. We continued to come back because I like the place and we are supporting a local business. The chairs are very uncomfortable. I wish they put more effort in making the outdoor seating area more appealing. The prices are a bit high. Lately the service has not been great but I think it’s because they can get pretty busy on Saturday morning. We have never had a bad experience with the staff. They are all friendly.

The butterscotch latte is the ultimate sweet treat. My sisters and I love coming here and grabbing some pastries (they have some gluten free offerings as well), coffee and hanging out. The staff is very friendly as well. I forgot her name but there is a tall girl with long brown hair and she always makes our drinks SO well and is super sweet!! Over all, it’s my favorite place to stop either on my way to work or just as a treat. Also, get the danish or half almond croissant.. delish.
