One of the last real, old school pubs in Reading, reasonable prices too (cash only).

Now this is pub worthy of a CAMRA 5* review. Characterful and reasonably priced. The other half told me the toilets were clean so thats the litmus test. Beer excellent and met a guy with a dog who had a tale to tell!!

The real deal, not fancied up, perfect for our pint. Locals place, home to some. Glad we popped in!

Old style pub. Like stepping back in to the old days. Would recommend to the older drinker but not for the younger generation
