Fantastic little BYOB in upper Lawrenceville. Corner spot. Open kitchen up a few steps from the dining room that seats about 40. Great service. Great menu. Great food. Great desserts. Will definitely go back. Hard to believe it’s been open since 2021 and this was our first time.

This was the first of their wine dinners. The wine rep said she was working with them to plan more wine dinners like the one we had. She was really informative and chose some interesting wines to pair with our courses. First of all, service was excellent and attentive, just what you'd hope for at wine dinner. Course 1 was a bitter green salad with pomegranate molasses. It was excellent. We both really enjoyed it. Course 2 was Arros Negre. It kind of missed the mark, honestly. The rice seemed to be missing salt entirely. The little dollop of sauce on top was quite nice. Course 3 was a braised beef cheek with sunchoke risotto and a lovely red wine braising sauce. It was perfect. Just as tender as it could be. Course 4 was lamb chops. This was where I realized this had been one of the most well portioned wine dinners I've been too as we both became quite full. They really didn't skimp on the portions. However, the lamb was quite underseasoned and the glaze was oversalted and lacking any sweetness. The carrots were also still pretty raw. Course 5 was a fig semi fredo. Wonderful dessert. The fig coulis was something incredibly unique that I've never had before. Overall, there were ups and downs but nothing was "bad", just kind of missing the mark. We'll be back in the future!

We had a fantastic dining experience here after making late dinner plans and being unable to get reservations with the "popular" Lawrenceville restaurants. They were extremely accommodating and we had no trouble getting a table for the time we needed. The place is very quaint and intimate which we loved. The kitchen is visable from the dining area which makes it feel more like a home cooked meal. It is also BYOB with a very reasonable cork fee. The food was absolutely fantastic and I missed getting pictures of most of it since we were too busy enjoying it. I almost didn't want to write a review and let this amazing secret out but they deserve to be up there with the best of them when it comes to dining experiences in Lawrenceville. Fantastic food at a reasonable price, we will be back time and time again!

Really enjoyed my first time dining here. Our party of four shared six appetizers, two rolls, and the risotto. My favorite was the pesto pasta, but every dish was thoughtful, well-crafted, and delicious. And between the prices and it being BYOB, it was extremely affordable. The service was excellent, too. I highly recommend.

One of our favorite places in the ‘Burgh. Food is fresh because the menu is seasonal and the best the seasons have to offer. Creatively and beautifully prepared. Servers are engaging and attentive. BYOB.

This place is great!!!! Such a hidden gem in pittsburgh. The food is amazing and they have great options that you would see at an upscale Italian restaurant. It’s byob which I think is great since it makes the price much more manageable. Grab a bottle of wine or two and head here for a nice date or a nice dinner with friends. Awesome vibes!

Totally charmed by this place. The aromas of deliciousness abounded as you step through the door and the sounds of kitchen added an extra little layer of beauty. The menu offered a lot of interesting choices. I chose the squid ink pastas Portions were generous and food was presented beautifully. I really enjoyed the pasta. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Amazing time at LaVia. Rigatoni was delicious with the hints of fennel mixed with the sausage and the sharp bite from the cheese. Absolutely delicious. And my wife's steak was good too!

Best Italian in PGH Apps: - braised octopus: top tier. Perfect charring. The sauce and greens perfectly compliment the food - garlic knots: must get with the cheese and marinara. Very good. The knots themselves are a tad sweet, but is balanced out well by the marinara Entrees: - Vesuvio: the creaminess and kick of the sauce with the crispy pancetta with the perfectly al dente pasta is just “mama Mia” - Pork chop: brined 24 hours, sous vide to medium. Possibly the best pork chop I’ve ever had. Eat every bite with a piece of the fried polenta.

Simply put, this was the best meal we've had in our 61 years on earth. We each had a small plate, the house salad and an entree and everything was perfection. Anthony and Melanie's food is art. Seasonings were unique, creative, and perfectly thought out. Great care goes into each dish. The vibe is chill, our server Ally (Alejandra) is great at her craft. Want a preview of heaven? Hit up LeVia.
