Went in and and was looking at the menu when a lady customer came up to us and said they were not doing good. Still menu's out and no sign about it. We do not go here very often but the last time we went they were also not doing food. Won't be trying them again.

Staff very friendly and service was good. All meals were nice and hot and nicely presented. Portions were good. 8oz rump steak sizzler was awful, the steak was tough and chewy, tasteless and was inedible, so wasn't eaten. We made waitress aware but no replacement or partial refund was offered. All other meals and sides were good, just the steak, some sort of goodwill would have been appreciated. We will visit again though, not put off by one steak.

So cozy lovely pub!!! Food was delicious and the prices are super affordable! Highly recommend for a nice family evening or drinks with friends. Thank you team for you service and welcoming atmosphere xx

Visited with daughter and do in law, first time I've been was impressed, had steak cooked to my taste and apple and Berry crumble with custard was divine!! Washed down with G&T. Waitress was very helpful nice and courteous and friendly will defo go again

Quiet but welcoming with a warm atmosphere. Pam our server was fab. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was cooked to perfection and there was more than enough on our plates. Would definitely recommend

Came here for a roast. Amazing deals! 2 roasts for around £15. There was a bit of a wait on food but completely made up by friendly service and top notch dinner! Will definitely be back

Lovely pub away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Spacious outdoor area and plenty of space for families with kids to visit.
We went for a kids’ coronation party and we were pleased with the event. It was free for all and our kids had lots of fun. The staff were all friendly and worked hard. They informed us of wait on food but our food was nice and came out quicker than expected.
