Starbucks

Holding on to the bitter end to their political mask rules when countries, states, cites are all rolling back mask mandates. Well, not in Pendleton Oregon!?! Really? Today, Pendleton Starbucks refused us service because we weren't masked up in their lobby. Crazy and completely proven ineffective. No problem… I’ll just share my experience and never go there again.

A very courteous and understanding starbucks indeed! My husband and I had been traveling over 700 miles in a commercial truck and wanted a coffee so bad. This Starbucks was the only one open on our route. So excited to find a spot to park and saw a sign that the lobby was closed but the drive thru was open. I took a chance and walked up to the window and explained our situation. The young lady helped me! I was soooooooooooo happy she understood and helped a hard working trucker get some coffee. Thank you! Will never forget you!

If they don't know you, you should go somewhere else. They are obviously very busy. Friendly service devolves into a robotic effort to get the drinks delivered. The wait is not exceptionally long. You may not hear your name called out inside. New staff is obviously learning the job. With masks on, communication is adversely affected. Coffee shops should not be a high stress environment, but that is what has happened.

This one had great service. I ordered a Caramel Brule Latte and a couple donuts. The coffee came out after the food, which means both were hot and fresh. The donuts were great. Highly suggest them. The location is easily accessible from the highway, and the place was clean. Big plus for me. Overall, a great place.
