Good food, home style menu, great prices and service. Ordered soup, salad, country fried steak and apple pie. Service was on it! Friendly and appropriately attentive. CFS had a unique breaded coating kinda like tempera instead of typical breadcrumb. Still delicious. Portions generous. Apple pie tasted homemade fresh. Will definitely recommend and return when in the area!

Great diner food done right. Service was quick and friendly. The prices are low, but the food is tasty. I had the open-faced turkey and gravy, with mashed potatoes, and a small side of canned cranberries. The meal was wonderful. My other half got the chicken fried pork breakfast. She loved how tender the pork was, how the eggs were perfectly cooked, and that the home fries were delicious.

Basic diner fare near the river. They are extremely busy with a friendly but overworked staff. On one visit I had the Meat Lover's Scramble and it was pretty good. I also tried the Country Scramble. Biscuit and gravy with egg, bacon or sausage extra and it was tasty. It's easy to see why they are so popular. Good prices, decent food, and a neighborly atmosphere.

Reviews brought us in and Wow! Mid morning mid week and the place was full!! Very nice hostess had us wait for just a few minutes. Service was amazing!! We had fresh hot coffee within minutes of being seated We had the house omelette and a side order of Biscuits and Gravy- both were delicious!! Having eaten breakfast from Key West to Vancouver BC I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed!!

If you feel like having a home-cooked meal, this is the place. We stopped by for breakfast after checking out of our hotel. Restaurant was crowded and there weren't any plexiglass shields between tables, so if you're still wary of COVID, keep this in mind. Staff was very friendly, and kept topping off our coffee cups, so we didn't have to ask. Food was brought out as it was cooked off the grill, so it was individually served piping hot...a welcome change from the chain restaurants which wait for all the plates to be done and delivered at the same time (having some plates colder than others). Serving sizes were generous portions, even the children's pancake was large (our daughter couldn't finish it). Food was quite tasty.
