Suburban Diner

Such a great diner. Love the variety of menu items. My personal favorite are the giant tubs of salads and breakfast options. Portions are plentiful. At our most recent visit I had the Western Omelette and my husband enjoyed the Little Miss Piggy Pancake Roll Up. We probably could have split one meal but it was definitely more fun ordering different options. Both were phenomenal and the home fries had a nice crisp on top. Our server was great and our food came out pretty quickly. Will definitely be back!

Located in Paramus, NJ....Suburban Diner is a very busy spot that has a very good wait staff. When my family and I arrived, we had to wait about ten minutes due to the place being at capacity plus the cleaning staff constantly cleaning and disinfecting everything. Once we were seated, the wait staff attended to us quickly and served our drinks within minutes then took our orders. When our food arrived, we dug right in. The most interesting of all our orders would have to have been the Disco Fingers (chicken fingers and fries covered in gravy and melted mozzarella cheese). The food was very good and the portions were just right. They also have a great selection of deserts. Combine that with an average price point and you've got a solid diner that I'd recommend to everyone. The ONLY negative I saw here was the lack of variety on the entree portion of the menu. Otherwise.....a great place to eat and enjoy.

Food was average to good, prices were average to high. But portions were filling and most importantly our waitress was friendly, quickly and personable, but not endlessly chattering. Very nice service experience. The decor is updated/modern and it's a large dinner with several seating sections. Also, a special note for new parents, the bathrooms are pretty clean and new and include multiple stalls and a changing table.

This was probably the best New Jersey diners I’ve been to in a very long time. It is very modern and extremely clean. This is one of the rare New Jersey Diners that have a bar in the middle but the main attraction is its bakery goods. If you can only eat one thing eat everything in the bakery case. I promise you won’t regret it at all.

Three of us went to the suburban diner last night. The food was good, but extremely overpriced. We had no alcoholic drinks, no appetizers, no dessert. My brother and I had water, my bf had a lemonade. Shrimp/Chicken Franchise was 28, Shrimp Parm 28, Salmon 25. This is a diner, not an upscale restaurant. Waitress doesn't even put your leftovers in a container. I was there last month and my waiter put all our leftovers in a container. I've been to nice restaurants and never paid these absurdly outrageous prices. They need to lower their prices, but that won't happen. I won't be back anytime soon, I'll be going to my local town restaurants for dinner where you get everything from soup to nuts for $24.95 or cheaper! Wake up! Again this is a diner!
