Subway

Absolutely appalled. The owner Johnny Lin and Subway employees need a reality check. Disgusted by the state of the shop which was filthy dirty, the place is deadbeat and run-down. They constantly have old staff training new staff members when they do not have the level of training needed. Items overpriced simply because the owner cannot afford to run his business which comes from a lack of inconsistent effort. The place is always closed due to a staff shortage, I wonder why?

At 1:30 today I entered Mayfield store, i was served by an elderly lady. I just watched her wiping the bench down with her gloves and use the cash register handling money, opening and closing toaster and bread warmer, With the same gloves on. She then asked me! what i would like? I politely asked her to change her "Gloves" before she makes my Subway. She quickly become very aggressive with attitude, abrupt, argumentative and just plain rude towards me. Unfortunately, her response was, "UMM WHY! I'VE ONLY HANDLED BREAD". She then told another staff member to serve me, she stormed out the store pushing past me. I thought that was so humiliating and so unprofessional and kind of aggressive attitude. I would go to Mayfield Subway at least 3 to 4 times a week. Not anymore..... I will make a formal complaint to head office regarding my experience today, with this lady. Not to mention how dirty and filthy the place has become. All, i asked for Is clean gloves. It wasn't a hard question, but the response was outrageous. I will also make a formal complaint to the health department. Regarding the filthy shop I experienced today.

Have to say this is one of the dingiest stores I have ever been to. The inside doesn't appear overly clean, the staff are lacking customer service skills and the outdoor area needs a damn good clean. The staff had undercooked the bread so it was doughy and they were even having trouble getting them out of the casts.

Rocked up at just before 12, all the lights inside were on including the fridges, oven was on, air con was in operation but both doors were locked with no one behind counter, no closed sign was on the door though. Others who showed up were just as confused and even tried knocking. Walked past half an hour later and no change
