Ordered the prime rib special, the price point was exceptional for the quality of the meat and way it was cooked. Mashed potatoes and brown gravy were okay, the potatoes were very very cooked so almost silky (not my preference) and not very flavourful, though the gravy made up for that. The biscuits and gravy were also just okay, the biscuit was dry and the gravy overly peppered. Our waitress Riley was awesome and such a great addition to the experience, she took care of us the entire time. Sadly there were no protections, all of the seats were very close to each other, nobody wearing masks in the staff. FOX news was playing on TV, which seems like a poor decision for a diner of any kind due to the divisiveness of the political environment at this time. YMMV.

54 cafe. Big place, lots of seating, nice bathroom. Water had a bad taste to it. Meal took a while to get, they were busy on a Friday morning. Stopped for breakfast while on a road trip. Really good ham, good portion of hashbrowns, sausage gravy was good, pancakes a little tough, homemade biscuits were very good. Service was average to a bit above average. Really good ham.

Love the place. First time here. I ordered the chef salad. Came out wonderful, everything fresh, and the perfect temp. I hate really cold salads. My husband ordered a chili dog and full order of curly fries. Chili dog was wonderful and the curly fries was a full basket! They do have a half. He will know better next time. Great waitstaff. Our waitress went in break and another one stopped by to make sure we didn't need anything. Our waitress had already made sure everything was taken care if before she went in her break.
