Bojangles

Everytime I travel down south I make sure that I stop at bojangles for the chicken and this time didn't disappoint. We are able to stop there and get my wife and I an order for the road. They staff was patient as we figured out what to order and we got the 3 piece meal in which I have the fries and she got the rice as well as the beans. She enjoyed her food and I know I enjoyed mines. If you are ever traveling make sure you take time stop because you won't regret the chicken is good and fresh.

Ordered a few meals two with wings and some Bo Berry biscuits. Said it would be 8 minutes on wings asked if I wanted to substitute or wait. I choose to wait since the wings belonged to someone else. Sadly 8 minutes turned into 15 minutes. When she finally came out she was missing an order asked what I was missing and went back in. Came back with the missing order expected at least an apology or a thank you but nothing. Of course got home opened up the box of Bo Berry biscuits to be disappointed again. Two of the biscuits were so flat they should have thrown them out. This was my second time getting Bojangles from this location. The first time was better however I did have to wait at that time too.

I like bojangles Chicken, but I got a lot of stress there today. . The clerk was staring at me, but I couldn't understand why she was looking at me. When the menu came out after payment, when I asked if there was hot sauce, I threw the word WE DONT HAVE and slammed the window and turned around, but I don't know how to explain this. I don't think I'll be coming back here again.

We were traveling so we stopped by to grab a bite to eat. We arrived and it was open for dining which was great. There was no one in line inside the store and there were only a couple of cars in the drive thru. We ordered chicken to go. After ordering we were told it would be a 7 minute wait. Having already paid we waited and waited and waited and waited. Interestingly some guy from corporate was there evaluating the store. It sounded like he had a good experience. We listened to him review the restaurant while we waited. Kind of hard not to hear when you are the only ones in the place. 17 minutes later our chicken came and we left. Not sure if the corporate guy was paying attention to our long wait or not, or to the car waiting for their order outside. I assume not. Maybe instead of simply ordering food as a test of the service provided by the restaurant corporate should pay attention to the experience others have there as well. I would not have written this review based solely on the length of time we waited. My reason for writing it is because the order we received came out wrong. We didn't realize it until we had left. Instead of an 8 piece mixed box we got an 8 piece dark meat only. Crazy how you make someone wait twice as long as you say and then get the order wrong. In addition, we were waiting long before the car outside showed up was asked to wait and they decided to serve them first. It was obvious they were waiting in the same chicken to be cooked. Finally the chicken here does not have the flavor you will find at other Bojangles. Experiences like this one make you shy away from stopping even when you have had a good experience at another location.

They may have had an off day when we were there. I had to ask for my change. They gave me spicy fingers which I did not request. My drink was a mystery. My son and I couldn't figure out what it was. I ordered Dr. Pepper. The fingers that weren't spicy were very good. And the biscuits wet awesome. Will try again one of these days because this had to just be a one-off event.

I went today (jan 31 22) I drove clear across Montgomery from the Westside to East side for these Bo-Berry biscuits!! I was initially only going to get 6 , but they were so phenomenal (like the 6 I got friday) that I had to go on and get 6 more. The guy at the window is the kindest , most attentive worker I've ever come in contact with. The sweet sweet woman who made the biscuits needs a raise, Tenure and a 100% Match on 401k investments 🤣🥰 will drive across town again real soon... probably sooner than my metabolism would care for.
