I don't know if there's a Checker's out there that DOESN'T have stale oil in their fryers! I guess that's what makes the food taste so good!😂😂😂
Anyway, the Monroe location on Hwy 38 has both a drive thru and an in-store option. I haven't seen that before.

The employees are super nice. The food is meh with the exception of their apple pie. No other fast food restaurant makes an apple pie as good as Checkers. They are still less than a dollar as well. I had a chicken sandwich and it was ok, but I tasted it the rest of the evening. Fries are decent, akin to Arby's.

TERRIBLE!! I was overcharged for the food I ordered and when I was handed my food, it was cold!! Yuvk!! I LOVE Checkers and have always wondered why so many of them closed, but if they were more like this one, I see why! I definitely will NOT stop there again!! When I asked the kid working the drive-thru window why was I charged so much for a checker burger combo, he said, "It's just expensive to eat here." 🙄😳😞

Two #1's in drive thru. Order was correct, food was good, service was quick. Best of all only two cars in line in front of me - only tok a couple minutes. Lady working drive-thru was friendly. My go to for a quick meal.

Grabbed a big ole burger for the girls back at home after a trip to the hardware store. They loved em and me and the son got us a ataboy.

The food was good. The fries were hot and fresh. The burger was good but not quite as fresh tasting. Still good.
