Ihop

Since I wasn't craving much to eat I only ordered pancakes. Though wrapped and set for dining the utensils were not clean. Left over food was still stuck along with some wet gooey blob on the spoon. Of the four on the table, one set was actually clean. The pancakes compared to other places are smaller and mine and my father's were over cooked. Served slightly warm not hot. For a better sense of what I mean, the butter served on top wouldn't melt or spread properly. So I had to ask for extra butter that our server had to melt then bring it. My father enjoyed the chicken fried steak and egg. They did not get his eggs right but he enjoyed the steak. His pancakes were dry too, and butter was order for him aswell. My brother and nephew didn't have anything good or bad to say about their food. In their words, "Well it was food." My Nephew ordered the spicy chicken. As for the service, they got the job done. Took our order, brought the food, brought the drinks when noticed it was empty.

We went at around 11pm, so we were able to find seats and get service right away. Our server was amazing. He was friendly and patient in taking our orders. He was attentive to our needs. He brought out our food promptly. He gave us refills when we asked. The food was okay. I can get filled up pretty fast and the portions are rather large, but the prices match the portions so that is good. The main problem I had was this weird smell that I felt while sitting there. It smelled like dirty mops. If this location could get some more air fresheners or some sort of solution for this, that would be amazing. The smell nauseated me a bit, but our server was really nice and it was not his fault so I did not want to bother him. I've come here before during the day and not had this issue, so I don't know what was going on tonight. Maybe they were cleaning and didnt realize that the mops or rags they used were dirty, but it was off-putting. I still reccomend this place though, as long as in the future the smell isn't there.

Sunday around 2 pm, it was a little crowded, service was taking sometime but a very nice guy, who said he was new helped us pretty well. He called our waiter and would have like the waiter to take note of the order, got a different omelet but being hungry I didn't want to take longer so I didn't mention anything to him....then pancakes arrived and everything was forgot 😁...great flavor and the right temperature. Butter pecan syrup was the cherry on top of the cake. ❤️ them as always.

Today we ordered curbside only one order of full stack of buttermilk pancakes. They took forever and then when you call they never answered!!! Even before we tried ordering over the phone they never answered! So after they take forever the pancakes where burned and real thin!! No fluff!!! Also they weren’t even the same size some small and others medium! Then to top it all off when I complained to the guy about us trying to call…. He just smiled and walked away! This was my first time ordering from this IHOP I’m not planning to order from here again anytime soon, I think I’m gona try Denny”s across the street ! Very disappointed!!!

Walked in and my wife left her name party for 2. Watched 2 other couples come in give their name and get seated before us. This place is racist. Because we "look" white. Hispanic couples were seated first. That is literally the only explanation. I asked the manager in English why this was happening. He responded to me in Spanish. Sad day for customer service. To all the Karen's that are gonna hate on this post I am of German and Hispanic descent.
