This is some legit Hawaiian food. The pork is out of this world. very casual.

I thought it was okay! And decent. I read some of the negative reviews it didn't change my plans. I thought the portions was outstanding. The large portions are the Hawaiian way. The food taste was there. I don't expect them to be perfect, where else you're going to eat these days. But I still give them a 5 on what I just saw today.

I love visiting Oahu and this is just as good as some of the places there. The staff are awesome and the place has the perfect vibe. Makes me want to book another flight to paradise. 🌺 🌺 🐢

The teriyaki chicken was really good. The Mac salad wasn't bad. I personally didn't like the salad dressing, it was more of a Catalina style dressing which just isn't my preference. The girl at the counter was nice. I would go back again.

I've never been to Hawaii, so take this with a grain of salt, but we loved this place. Great plates, great appetizers, and the staff was friendly and sweet to our kids. We started with Spam Musubi and pork buns and had a pork plate and a teriyaki chicken plate. The rice was a little dry, but we came in right before close. They gave us two free Musubi, so I refuse to complain. Great restaurant.

This is a great joint.
Have been going here for years.
It's a nice little spot in the corner of a plaza catering tasty Hawaiian food. JR's Special is where it's at!!!
Food = 5
Service = 4: Nothing bad, nothing "great". Better than most so 4.
Atmosphere = 4: If you're going to this area, you know what you're looking for and you get what you expect. It's clean and safe and GREAT for lunch. And good enough to take home for dinner.

10/10 best Hawaiian spot I've had in the valley!
Their flavors don't miss. Everything is good and fast and relatively cheap. Portions are plentiful. The place smells amazing when you walk in, and service was super polite, quick, and attentive.
Couldn't say a bad thing about this place.
So glad I found it through DDD's

The food was nice. This food was similar to most Hawaiian grill places. I ordered the steak and coconut shrimp with macaroni salad. Food comes with rice and dipping sauce.

I've been here a couple of times. I've enjoyed each visit. Food is very good and generous portions. Full size portions are huge. Chicken katsu mini plate was more than enough for me to eat for lunch.
