Easy Pot

The main concept of this restaurant is that all their main dishes (on rice) comes in a claypot. This way you will get really hot food and those crispy rice that were directly in contact with the claypot. Presentation-wise it looks great and appetizing, too bad it's lacking any real flavours. Food - 6 Service - 6 Vibe - 6 Price - $$

Ordered the spicy lamb rice, the pork belly rice, and the mixed steamed dumplings. Both of the rice dishes are not too bad but they gave very few meat in propotion to the rice. Make sure you mixed the rice else it'll be too hard at the bottom. I like a bit of the burnt crunch on my rice so I ll leaveind slightly longer. The mixed steamed dumplings were disappointing. * Green - prawn & cucumber: personally i think they are the wrong combo. Just no. * Black - cuttlefish & pork. As above. * light yellow - pork and chives: flavour is a bit lacking. * yellow - mushroom vegie: surprisingly not too bad. I didn't try the pan fried dumplings but quite a few people ordered.

It was just white rice and pork belly being heated up in the pot. The dish was very dry after mixing up everything. It wasnt bad, but i expected the rice to be cooked in the pot instead. Quite pricy for what it is. Could get a similar dish elsewhere without the gimmick of the pot. Cashier was really rude too.

Wanted to try something new and decided to give this place a go. It can be quite daunting if you don't know how to read Chinese characters, or speak Chinese, food here is quite delicious. It can be quite spicy if you can't handle chilli. You basically order at the counter and pay for it, a d take your order number and seat yourself down. Just order what you feel like having, it's a one pot meal concept... just order the right combination... their meat buns are pretty good too.
