Dymocks Cafe

"JUST OK" CAFE WITHIN DYMOCKS BOOKSTORE Dymocks Bookstore is a Mecca for booklovers across Melbourne but its instore cafe doesn't have the same drawing power. It's a bit gloomy (with no outside views) and has a 1970s cafeteria feel to it. The menu is largely coffee and run-of-the-mill cakes. OK if you want a quick caffeine fix before you buy your books but for anything more serious, there are some very good coffee shops in the vicinity. people with mobility issues will be fine here as it is on one (lower ground) floor with no steps and lift access from the arcade above.

Finally made it, my third attempt to visit, and it was worth the wait! Situated inside Dymocks, to the left of the checkouts-its surprisingly big when you enter, the girls serving were very friendly, excellent customer service-the coffee definitely passed my very high standards for coffee, and the Pumpkin and Feta Quiche, was very tasty, and served at the right temperature-I was offered salad with the quiche, but the quiche was enough for me. Definitely going back, next time I will try one of their many delicious looking cakes. Very highly recommend a visit 😊
